@@GRVBass I don't hate the Pacers at all, lol! I actually have them ranked above my Houston Rockets. I know they just made it to their conference finals but a lot of that had to do with teams like the Bucks and Knicks having injuries. I would have placed them above the Knicks but they got significantly better I think. The Bucks probably won't go anywhere much in the playoffs under Doc but will be one of the better East teams regular season. I see Indy as a four or five seed. Remember Atlanta making a run to the ECF a few years back but then dropped back down to Earth. Pacers need a really good big man to go with that crew. Siakam is good but I don't consider him a big man like I mean.

I believe adding cp3 will be huge for that young teams growth, situational basketball, and just overall calmness. the Spurs will win north of 40 games this year. Wemby is a beast, and if there's anything we know about Paul, it is that he loves big men.

To put NY and OKC (Who Dallas beat 4-2) ahead of Dallas is crazy.... Would you say Okc improved that much more than Dallas? Is say no it seemed pretty even. While okc had a great REGULAR SEASON offense, when the game slowed their offense looked nonexistent. Will Caruso or Hardenstien fix that? No ofc not. Boston will still be in the east, which by pure math lowers any East's team odds, including NY. Dallas will win north of 60 games this year, barring major injury. Could very well be the 1 seed.

I believe the Rockets will be closer to 12 to 15 than 19.
They got Ime Udoka last yr and formed an identity. Became a top defensive team in Udoka first yr.
They got a really good young core.
Jalen Green, Alpern Sengun, Jabari Smith, Amen Thompson, Cam Whitmore, Tari Eason, Aj Griffin, Lockdale and just drafted Reed Shepherd.
They are about 9 to 10 deep
After you include Steven Adams who didn't play yet, FVV, and Brooks, and Jeff Green
Last yr they beat Sacramento 3 times, Denver 3 times, blew out the Lakers once, beat the Suns, the Cavs, Pelicans, Pacers, Knicks, beat OKC at least once.
One of the games the Clippers barely won off of a miracle 3 by Harden. And many of the Rockets losses were close games.
When they went on that 11 game win streak, Jalen Green was almost unguardable. And they had about 4 players hurt during that win streak.

Denver lost cauldwell pope...in 2 yrs they have lost rotational pieces that got them to the championship. They will be a threat but I believe a shaky contender
Phoenix, Durant is getting older, they didn't really have a bench last yr and Beal is not the same player he was In Washington.
Golden State lost Klay
Lakers didn't improve their roster and Lebron and AD are a yr older. Question marks surround if AD came play as many games as he did last yr because history shows he normally misses alot of games. When will Lebron start declining? He is already old by NBA standards.
I am banking on Clippers, Denver, Phoenix, Golden State, and Lakers to all take some form of a decline.
Some of these teams will take a big decline and some will take a smaller decline.
This will open the door for the Rockets to surprise people in addition to their rise
@@peterguidry6084 Well I take that back. No teams in the West got worse to the point where Houston would easily leapfrog them. Denver got worse but are still a top 4 team because of Jokic, the Suns I think will be a bit better with continuity and adding a couple of pieces, the Clippers will be worse no doubt but I doubt they will be bottom 3 or 4 barring injury, the Lakers same thing, they have a higher ceiling can be a top 4-5 team in West but have a very low floor can be a bottom 3 team in the conference if LeBron or AD miss significant time and Golden State same thing they are a little better but are relying heavily on Steph Curry who will be 37. I'd fill in Houston in the play-in but can get into the playoffs for sure!
