I think he actually provided value to the team this year. Making them aware of the fact that the Melbourne setup was better than the upgraded one. And let's be honest, the car was so slow this year, other drivers wouldn't necessarily have performed better than him. Sure he is by far not the greatest driver on the grid, but still.

Pretty stupid theory. Netflix painted him in a really bad light with him asking questions during the briefings etc but failed to mention he is a director of the GPDA, plus the whole "pushing the cameraman" when he was moving him from being hit by an air hose rig played up the drama.

I think F1 has never had a so friendly atmosphere as it has today. Never enjoyed press conferences as this year.
Having guys like Lando, Daniel, George, Carlos, Kimi, Seb and Charles is pure gold for the human side of motorsport. Even Lewis seems more relaxed at ease with those smartass around =)

Im not a fan of kubica but i fell sorry for him to be treated by William like that.
I feel Williams were good to him. Gave him a chance to get back into it. He just really heavily underperformed. Quali often a whole second or more behind Russell and races were similar. I feel sorry for Kubica but you can't stay in F1 with that performance issue. Announcement was only a matter of time.
Robert use the same engine for 10 races? If somebody is still talking that they have the same car is an idiot. All the best and new parts are going to Russell and Robert has the same broken shit parts every race. This is how is he treating in williams.
I know he can’t say now what he thinks about this but one day he will and many people will be suprised what is going on in this team. Even the best engineers are working with George. Robert’s engineer told him today that he was too late to start another lap during the qualification but it wasn’t true. He had new tyres and just 0.3 second behind George. I think he wanted resign after 3 races not because he is too slow for f1 but because he knows that they will not let him be better than George so he said thank you williams. I will be not suprised if he will go to DTM and will win this competition in his first year there. Thank you Robert for all and I wish you well.

Mimo fatalnej formy Williamsa i faktu, że właśnie przez to dojeżdżałeś zazwyczaj na końcu stawki, kibicowałem i do końca sezonu będę Ci kibicował, tak jak z resztą pewnie nie jeden Twój fan.
Choć na jeden sezon powróciły wspomnienia z czasów, gdy startowałeś w BMW Sauber czy Renault.
Piękna słoneczna niedziela, godzina 14:00 zaraz po przyjściu z kościoła i po obiedzie leciał wyścig Formuły 1. Na zewnątrz robiło się pusto, bo wszyscy siedzieli przed telewizorami. Siadało się całą rodziną i śledziło losy rywalizacji. Wspólnie przeżywało się Twoje wzloty i upadki. Po wypadku w Kanadzie w 2007 roku pilnie śledziło się wszystkie serwisy informacyjne, by dowiedzieć się co z Twoim zdrowiem - rok później, w tym samym miejscu śpiewałem tego jedynego Mazurka na stojąco przed telewizorem.
Tych wspomnień jest znacznie więcej...
Zapewne teraz przez długi czas nie zobaczymy polaka w tym elitarnym sporcie, chcę się nacieszyć ostatnimi wyścigami, w których bierzesz udział jako kierowca wyścigowy - jako ktoś, kto wywalczył sobie fotel w bolidzie formuły 1, pomimo tego co zdarzyło się osiem lat temu na początku lutego.
Niezależnie od tego, jak potoczy się Twoja przyszłość, Ty już jesteś legendą.
