Did you raise your pickups to correct the action or did it come out of the box that way? I have over an inch between the top of the pickups and the bottom of the strings on the one I got and it makes the output seem really low even with high gain distortion. I will most likely replace with Wilkinson P90s. My bridge is reversed too, but on those style I don't think it matters that much. The 3 thin strings on mine are coated black, not sure why.
My Rhythm pickup was raised properly without touching it but I did have to put some additional sandpaper sponge corners under the treble pick up to raise it a bit. They don't use Springs so if you have some long springs that'll be the quicker resolution. Interesting on the strings. After I did a fret polish the default strings feel decent.
Cool, thanks for posting. Great playing
Thank you! 🙏🏾
Thanks for the review!! Those P90s sound nice and you have a great touch.
Thanks so much! Practice practice lol
@@j.powellnetwork Practice indeed!

You ever tried the Chromes flat wound strings
I have not. I'll have to check them out! I've used Daddarios flat wounds before which are pretty smooth
How's the weight as compared to an LP
It's much lighter than a traditional LP which is nice!
