This Album is my personal 10/10 Album cos it's pure perfecttion as an concept Album.

Good talk, you also hear about "studio magic" with Led Zeppelin, Korn, and Nirvana. The producers giving them this big, overdubbed sound and helping them sound better than they were live. But also you have to remember they are just people, expectations can get pretty high.

You have a good broadcasting voice

The updates are nice added features that was needed to compete with the Silver Sky SE. As a lefty guitar player, the rollout for left handed options and finishes was kinda disappointing, so I probably not going to get one. The only guitar in the lineup that is enticing for me would be the new yellow finish telecaster.

Fender is putting a lot of features in the mexican line that were in the higher end models. i think they are great guitars overall with a premium for getting a fender. i wouldn't upgrade my player strat though, cause the guitar is already pretty good imo. rosewood is a welcome change too.

They fixed several problems with the original Player; tuners, rolled edges, rosewood fingerboard, maybe pickups?

Back then i went for MIJ Hybrid because of rosewood rather than Player Series with the pau ferro. this time i might considered player ii but i prefer MIJ.

The cable is OK. The clip on tuners are not great. The picks are great for acoustic. I'm undecided yet what I'm going to do with mine. Might just sell it, or cannibalize it.

Great review. So I just shot a video this afternoon with my final thoughts on this guitar. I was trying to set the intonation and couldn't get the saddles back far enough. So I actually had to move the bridge back. I also have the "ringing" strings. Almost all of them ring. I thought it was the saddle height screws as well. I like the saddles you put in. Did you replace the bridge as well? Tone-wise I think it sounds fine. I'm with you. I'm not a fan of the push-pull coil split. I was thinking of trying to add binding to the F hole. Also, I think the inner block of the guitar is a soft wood. When I drilled the new holes for the bridge it was very easy. Maybe the sides and back are ash. The top is like cabinet plywood! LOL. Anyway, cool review. I subbed. Keep it up.

I love Turn Blue album and Brothers. So far I love 'on the game' from their new album. I think maybe its not that they are declining, but they have drifted into other styles that arent your personal taste? People change tour dates all the time so i dont think its a big deal.

It was November 17th, 1983. I was sixteen at the time. On that day, I as at the Sam Ash store in White Plains, New York. I was making my last payment on a Fender bullet. The guy working the guitar section came back up from the stock room and handed to me say, Ya wanna open it up? I said, I'll do it at home. Got home opened up the case and looked at my Fender Bullet. The head stock said Stratocaster! I colsed the case in disbelife. I closed my eyes and opened the case then. IT WAS A FREAK'IN BRAND SPANK'IN NEW 83 Standadtrd Strat. Still have it taday, and never will part with it. Played in a Bluea smokey bkues bar in south Korea for one year. It got all nice and vintage white, cuase all the dammn smokle. Didit go back to that Sam Ash for a year, LMMFAO!

I like that they’re at least trying to change what wasn’t working. I’ve been to Guitar Centers that were well stocked and serviced and often spent quite a bit of time there and would ultimately leave with something. I’ve also been to ones that weren’t and would leave almost immediately wondering if I’d go back any time soon. It’s important to see and test some “Dream” gear, to excite you and make you want to put in the work to get it one day. If you’re not salivating over some particular piece of gear, then where is the hunger?

Hate to be the one to tell you, but an awful LOT lot of those "$300" guitars nowadays are sounding every bit as GOOD as all those "premium" guitars.

I stopped going or trading with guitar center years ago. Enjoy Moore Music in Evansville now.

GC needs to tune, clean, and re-string its guitars MUCH more often. They'll pull down a $3,000 guitar from the top row and it'll be covered in dust and the strings will be tarnished over. Yuk.
