1. 0:33 Self Testing > Reviewing (20% reviewing notes, 80% practice tests/active recall mind maps)
2. 1:45 Talking to Self (hearing it out loud and trying to explain can be a lot more helpful than saying it in your head)
3. 2:43 Take Advantage of Online Resources (grammarly, crash course, CZcams channels, etc.)
4. 4:52 Don’t be scared to Reach Out (don’t be afraid to reach out to classmates and professors for test help and homework help. You’re no less of a good person if you do so. They are there to help you c:)
5. 5:49 Limit Music (personally I get really distracted by music however when I listen to ambient music I can work. But if you really need to complete an assignment, try to work in silence or rain/white noise)
6. 7:09 Task Blocking (rather than studying for a specific time and then taking a break, do it by task. Example, finish a task then take a break. But if you prefer the pomodoro technique, that’s fine too)
7. 8:45 Having everything in one place (either by using a digital planner or a physical planner. It might be harder if you have both as you can forget to add it to one and it might get hectic. Make sure whichever you choose, they are easily accessible.)

It makes me very happy that you are doing self testing. Here in my country, India, you literally just practice and practice by doing worksheets or tests until there is no possible question left for that competitive exam. Believe me, it really works! There is a saying here that if you practice 50K questions, then you're guaranteed selection in prestigious colleges! I love that you prioritized this method first..

ok this is some actually good advice and everything I struggle with- including revising notes way too much and not getting to the questions part, or getting distracted with music or discord in name of studying there- or asking teachers for help, thanks mate, I tend to ignore TIMERS TOOOOO
AND I struggle with revising less which kinda sucks lol cuz i learn lots of new information all the time

I def agree about the online resources hehe. CZcams really saved me last year. Especially with math, which is a subject i can struggle with-too proud to get a tutor tho. i recommend going on to yt when you have concept you can't understand. Also, love your gudetama plush. i have a pencil case that looks just like that and i usually put my glasses on him too lol
yeahh i totally find task blocking way more efficient and flexible compared to time blocking

Yes omg this is my problem i am struggling a lot bc i am just too slow. I feel like i need to write notes to really understand the material but just writing note isn't enough and i only get good grades if i do tests and practice questions.. But i usually dont have enough time and i am too slow. Do you have any tips to process your material quick and efficiently so i have enough time for practice questions and tests?? Love you videos❤️

For me, I NEED music to study. I can't focus on silence, and not even ambience sounds. I need songs with lyrics (???) and that literally helps me focus for some reason.
I think it depends on the person. I prefer silence.
For me I can study with music but if it has lyrics I'll end up just paying attention to the music :/
Same goes for me, there are certain subjects that I study with songs(+ lyrics), but there are also some subjects that I study while listening to only lo-fi music ☺️

i’m not so sure if this is cheating or not, but i use photomath on some on my problems :’) but in my defense, there is also a calculator on the app so i sometimes use the calculator as well. but this app is rlly helpful when you’re rlly stuck on a problem 😽
