I am a person who grew up listening to all these bands you mentioned, including Queen, today I am 40 years old, and when I heard this song for the first time, LOVEBITES brought me down uncontrollable tears from the beginning to the end of this song ... a wonderful feeling. I cannot say enough good things about Lovebites. I honestly believe they are the best metal band at the moment. I really hope they get more recognition. They deserve all the success that comes their way.
"Epilogue" shows just how restrained LOVEBITES can be. But you know at any moment they could SHRED your nerves, & Haruna be ready to bring down the 'Hammer of Wrath' on drums.
Apart Miyako who has incredeable skills, Midori in that piece showed that she can draw out feelings from strings of giuitar awesome outro and solo in the second part, Miho genious she introduces by his bass the mood in that song, Haruna in the manner very delicate runs rythm giving emphasis at the propriate moments and Asami with his beauteful and powerfull voice gives feelings and tears to listeners and reactors. Great reaction. Happy birthday to your daughter.

Have you ever sat in a 1968 Pontiac GTO with 350 hp under the hood, and the driver is only going 25mph, and you can feel all that power in reserve, just waiting to explode? That is this group and this song.
I am glad I am not the only one who shakes his head listening to this insane talent level band!!!! Yes they do it because they can...and how inadequate it make one feel watching these women play with power, speed and complicated chords but always FLAWLESSLY, no mistakes because LIVE any slip up would wreck the presentation. They have only been together 3+ years and are actually getting better with each LIVE video they drop, especially Asami whose vocals LIVE have really become awesome. Great reaction, now I am looking at my guitar and saying give it a try but my brain tells me "No Way"..(LOL)!!!
Yep, they've written a classic. Good playing and good riffs are always appreciated by music lovers because they move parts of you that other things can't.

Great reaction again to an epic ballad, Happy Birthday to your daughter from Down Under . To go with your closing comments I heard in one of their interviews their ambition in forming the band was to keep heavy metal alive . To me people keep trying to pigeon hole there music but they play across many genres of metal power metal , thrash metal, power ballads and even heavy rock some times all in one song .You are one of the few reactors that showcase this aspect of Lovebites There is a song from The Battle in tne East show called Liar which was blocked by Victor Entertainment . Only one reactor I have seen ever reacted to it before it was taken down and it is still on youtube. His name is Shaun Stackhouse. Do yourself a favour and check it out I would really like to hear your opion of it . I know you probaly won't be able to show it but it is worth a listen .

You reflect many peoples feelings and emotions when hearing this song. Even Midori, has to concentrate! How many hours of practice did her and Miyako, have to do? It is not just the timing, it is the accents and string bends that have to match, just amazing! As usual, thank you for the info' you display. It sets you apart from all the other reaction videos that I have seen.

Awesome video! Lovebites is just Amazing 😍 this live performance show they did in 2019 is prob the most emotional side from Lovebites. I highly recommend another one that will melt your hearts & even show more love and respect to them, on a song called journey to the other side. This song may be a tearjerker bc this song was performed live in tokyo 2019 & was composed by our leader of LB Miho which was dedicated to her dad who passed away that same yr. you talked about emotion from this video, you’ve seen nothing yet on this one. Also, gotta do Hammer of Wrath & Raise some hell! To lighten the mood back to where we all started to love these Princess of Metal! 🤩🤗🤟 Bow down to the Queens!! I also recommend Rising.. a classic early songs which got people noticed on them & Signs of deliverance.. but i think the live performance one are taken down last week. Would’ve seen the pure badass talent from both guitarist. All the songs are so much better live which i tell all these idiots who thinks this group can’t play it live after seeing a MV/studio version and still thinks they’re just a female version of Dragonforce band... you know what, why don’t ya just give up on music bc clearly you dont know music at all and just keep watching old codgers/repetitive crap you hear in this current generation of rock/metal music scene that’s not in Japan. The Japanese rock/metal are revolutionizing the genre and making it better for all type of music listeners to enjoy and appreciate the talents these men/women go thru. I think its pretty obvious these songs are loaded with emotion, sure Miyako may not be headbanging 24/7 but thats just not her style, nothing to do with having emotions. People that say that clearly only watched MV's like Shadowmaker or When Destinys Align and then they think thats all they play, when in fact they go through many different genres of metal. They can do it all.

I cried like a BABY when seeing this song live for the first time and the album is amazing from beginning to end. Saw a reaction video where the guy began (And was man enough) to also cry like a baby without apologies, and I cried right along with him..LMAO
These ladies are world class talents and they are not afraid to show their faith. The message in their songs are very positive , uplifting and inspiring. The white dresses and heels because they are ladies and elegant. But they want to be heavy not cute.
"Scream at me live" is a song you have to listen to. The girls are just killing it battle

I think you are absolutely right about feeling in metal. Lovebites plays with plenty of feeling. Epic is a feeling I get from the other faster songs. Happy is also a feeling in their music. So people who say there is no feeling? Bunkem and Junkem. This band plays with plenty of feel. I also hear a little bit of Still Loving You by the Scorpions from parts of Miyako's solo mixed with the tints of Gary Moore. Midori's end riff sounds a lot like Gary Moore who is such an underrated guitarist.
Lovebites doesn't write any good songs. Wha!? That's right. Not one good song in their library. The only songs Lovebites writes are masterpieces.

Yes, Miyako definitively can make the guitar weep like Gary Moore, the most suffering sound an e-guitar can produce - it hurts.
Did somebody say they are emotionless? You'r right, this title, Empty Daydream, and the Edge of the World....there many. Sometimes, people don't love music mix up music with stage performance, they scale depth and magnitude of emotion with volume of sound or voice, or action of body but that's a circus, not a concert.
The first time I listened to this song was in dark room in some hardship and it made me sob. You should listen to it the same way. One of the best ballads in the past 20-30 years for sure rivalling or surpassing the kings of ballads Scorpions and G'n'R. Miya Moore and Midori Steen should be their stage names.
Miyako also plays bass and drums and she went from classical guitar to piano to electric to piano to electric in this song. Haven't seen many musicians do that, or when she played both keyboards and guitar at the same time or when she went on catwalk with Midori and they did overhand tapping in such a perfect harmony (Signs of Deliverance Zepp 2020)
Whomever said that this band doesn't have soul obviously does not understand guitar playing or the genre. Well maybe because they are so good at their instruments and so professional that it might seem like it.
Asami did a great job with Mao for this ballad. Hope we'll see more of it.
Btw, Miyako did have a small slip in the solo, but to be honest if she didn't I'd think she is a robot. Coming out to play 1.5 hours of intense playing and do a ballad of this magnitude I'd be slipping all over the place. it is a really hard piece to play.
my suggestion with your videos. when you pause. which I don’t mind cause you have to.
when you restart. you should go back a second or two instead of starting where you paused.
in my opinion it’s better so we the listeners gets the full effect. of the songs.

my suggestion for the people reacting. when you pause a video. before restarting. go back a little. because sometimes you pause on the wrong part of the songs. it takes away the flow of the song.
Once again great reaction, BUT..... You've just destroyed the most Epic transition in the song, the entry of Haruna's drums introducing Miyako's solo !! C'mon, atleast do back up the video 5/10 seconds when you pause and add comments. I mean, the whole dynamics of the song started in that transition... Sorry, bad move !! An amazing song by amazingly talented female artists but hey your review sucked ! Interrupted at the uptempo part then towards the end. You kept raving on. This clip went for 15 minutes for a 4 minute song ! Ridiculous! No more than 10 mins and wait for the end. Know you South Africans are opinionated but won’t be watching another review. Just shut up,listen then respond AFTER..This came across more as you not them...Final review
