Winderbaum discussed said conditions in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, recalling, "Following the success of What If…?, when we were able to make more animated shows, [X-Men '97] was my first idea out of the box. And Kevin [Feige] was like, 'Alright, if we can get the [original] cast and we can get the song, let's do it.' And fortunately, we were able to do that."

Bro seeing cyclops use his abilities in more ways that just "blast the bad guy" is so cool. Using it to slow his descent and using it as extra movement in fights, so dope

Give the team/animators/screenwriters/ect that made this show a huge bonus. They deserve it. If the rest of the show is as good as the first couple episodes they knocked it out of the park. seriously Disney, make sure these folks get taken care of we need talent like this on your future projects.

I expected it to be alright, I did not expect my favorite thing to be Scott Summer beam scooting his way through a smooth as ice fight scene.

A few of the original voice actors came back. From what I can tell it’s Beast, Rogue, Storm and Wolverine

The first two episodes are so fun to watch . I love the original series , and I love this sequel series . The animation feels so good like the original show in the 90 . So I can't wait to watch the next episode .

Spectacular is on a difficult position though.
Sony owns everything, Disney has the last word, they have to make a new deal, and since both sides are at odds over MCU Spider-Man 4, plus they're more focused on their own respective Spidey projects... we just have to move on and cherish it.
Spider-Man '98 on the other hand is more probable to be the next revival.

Pffft... when something is APART and away from the mcu? We literally get stuff like this becuase it's dead focused on the COMICS of Marvel and its history.
That's Marvel Animations specialty... they actually know how to represent Marvel, its amazing stories, and especially the characters! They celebrate that joint, and you just witnessed that two days ago.
The MCU could barely keep up with this type of quality, or VERSION of Marvel when it comes to taste and content.
Becuase they're barely ARE the comics.
They're the MCU... and they've been making Marvel feel freaking stale! Disney made a smart move to actually put in a budget for Marvel Animation.
And to make it have freedom to do whatever it WANTS.
That's Marvels biggest benefit ever.
I’ve been done with superhero stuff since Avengers: Endgame but this is definitely an exception. The first two episodes are AWESOME and I’m excited for more!

I thought this would be good and I was wrong. It’s outstanding.
I never watched the original X-Men show but i watched the X-Men 97 and loved it.
I read lots of comics and love to see jim lee style adapted on screen... Never liked wht fox did with rogue or seeing my fav version of rogue adapted, i am just so much thankful to kevin feigi and all the people help it modernize the show.
Marvel should just give us more than 2 seasons if they're gonna make it this good

Nightcrawler is confirmed to appear in later episodes. He's also voiced by Adrian Hough, who voiced him in the original animated series.

Best show Marvel Studios has released, ironic since its a continuation of a non-mcu related show and is animated when they wanted to focus mainly on live-action.
Best X-men show man I watch it many times already and I still love it, I love the Art style compare to the 90’s and I love Storm ⛈️ she’s my favorite and I love that Bishop it’s add in this show and I love his short hair oh boy He looks Hot and Cyclops looks dope as well, I’m Happy Morph is back in the team too and all their voices are back too Alison Sealy Smith is my favorite voice of Storm ⛈️ she’s the Best and she still sounds the same as in the 90’s I can’t wait to see more of Storm ⛈️ she has Omega Level power she can wipe the whole entire city with her Lightning ⛈️ and Big Tornados🌪️ “I AM STORM MITRESS OF THE ELEMENTS” I love it 😻

Makes me wonder if a Live Action X-Men reboot by Disney should be part of the MCU or in it's own universe.
Magneto has me conflicted. I remember what a PITA he was for them in the past. However, he seems sincere and there's no denying his charisma.
