    Uffda. IMPORTANT!!!!!
Diodes must be connected from the opamp input pin to +15V power and -15V power.
This is to protect the opamp.
There will be a drawing on my website.

The automated voice works well although your English is more than good enough and sounds better.

Amazing! It looks so simple when you make it. I will definitely add this to my list of must make projects!

A separate web site for this valve tester would be very helpful. The English speaking voice is OK and so are the subtitles. Nice project. Music was a bonus. Many thanks. Best wishes.

Excellent work Helge! That's quite a neat tube tester. To be honest, I prefer when you speak Norwegian and translate your script into English subtitles, but the synthesized voice was surprisingly good!

Actually you can check for shorts, microphonic's and life strength just by plugging the suspect tube into a working amp.

You have some really good episodes. I always enjoy them. Especially the old WW2 equipment from Germany.
I'd like to see more of the RV and G-Wagon in ham radio videos 👍.

The robot voice pronunciation is quite comical at times, particularly with words like "Kilo" and "Anode." I'm OK with reading subtitles!

Same, prefer closed captions & listening to Norwegian.
Or, dub your English over video, it's good enough. This voice doesn't know basic pronunciations.
      Cool vintage tubes!

I’ll definitely undertake this project when details of the schematic are available. It’s so much better for amateur use compared to factory tube testers that were used by technicians when they had to fix tube equipment in batches and wanted to save every minute of their tedious work.

      @LA6NCA  Před 5 měsíci +2

What a great idea for testing a wide variety of tubes with a minimal outlay of cash are you happy for the viewers of your channel to copy the schematic to build their own version of the circuit. Another great project from you.

Always hold the socket when removing a tube. Otherwise, you risk pulling it apart.

I have received comments on this on Facebook.

@@LA6NCA The glass flask is glued to the base, especially old tubes can slip and tear the connections.
