Grandpa wants some eggs for hatching in his new incubator
Ah, Bruce the Court Jester. You gotta love him for that.
The horn as you are calling it, is called a scur. Sometimes when kids are disbudded or mature goats have their horns sawn off the area of skin where the horn grows from is not entirely removed. Then a scur will grow. Unless the scur grows to be large or grows in toward the skull it is not necessary to remove it. This is not uncommon and is more cosmetic than anything. By the way I said Bruce would be the first there. LOL
No guessing, it was Bruce. It's always Bruce! 😄
Adler is adorable bananas is as good a nickname as anything else! 💖💖💖
I didn't even have to guess, Bruce usually comes running when he hears you in the grain bin.
Yep…and my first thought when he was talking about the new fence to keep the animals out while they do the concrete for the new house was a vision of Bruce jumping in the wet concrete.😅
We got 10 inches of snow here in Wisconsin
Adler tell Daddy you can eat flower on cupcakes to the bakery Dad!!!!! Love you all. You just make me smile & laugh so much. Laughter is the best medicine.
Being from Canada, love seeing the Canadian (chickens) geese. Love all your families channels. Ty Chad, Rae, and all the Doss family for sharing your animals and your journey with us.
From Canada as well, them Canadian “Chickens” are nasty bastards and will chase/attack you when they have a nest with either eggs or goslings.

Give some to your Dad and Mom to hatch out. They just got a new Incubator. Just a thought. 😊🙏💗🐤🐓🐔👍
I knew it would be Bruce. Love that boy.
Love the bananas nick name. Adler is so cute!
Canadian geese will eat all your fish once you stock it. We had a hard time getting rid of the ones at our pond because we stocked ours with bass and catfish and they ate all our bass. We found out when we drained our pond because we couldn't figure out what happened to all the fish we put in there.

Always a joy to follow yous all. Enjoy watching all the happenings. Great share
Hey from southern New Jersey 🌻👍🌻
Have Kyle help you with your shed. He’s got some nice ones on his property
Things are finally starting to happen and I am so happy for you all. Always great to see the boys! Can’t wait till all the cold and rainy weather is gone! Will be awesome for the new babies coming to have sunny warm weather and all the darn mud. Excited to see the fence you and Rae picked. That fencing will make a huge difference for sure. So glad you will finally have a shelter for the tractor and your new ride you just got. I really like it! You all be safe and May God keep you all healthy and happy and Blessed. Love ya Bunches Grammie Suzie 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hello from Michigan.
Hey everyone. Hey ( Grandma & Grandpa) ( Kyle and Shannon) Chad, Rae and the boys
I've never done banding but I've heard the real hard on the horns because they slip off constantly
Adler is special to us as well! He has grown so much ! That wooden box is really nice and the price of it too! The goose stand will be nice and fun for everyone to watch them , especially if they have babies . Everything is falling into place nicely . Anxiously awaiting for the babies to arrive .🤗
I missed the last video I have to go watch ...Everyday is a new challenge but God is in control.. The farm looks awesome...It's gonna be so pretty when all that green starts to grow...Case voice changing. I can't believe how time has flown...God bless you , Rae and the precious boys... The whole Doss Family are the best ❣️
Well said, I absolutely love watching these videos. I think Bruse, Batman, and Kyles naughty goat are the funniest critters on earth, I just want to say thank you for your patience with them. What are 70 degree days? For the last three days when I got up it was a whopping 14-17 degrees here. Now that’s cold. 🥶🥶🥶
What happened to the guy in the corner of the back of the cabin? Probably took it down because of the wind or he walked away 😅
@@jackiehawkins6926 Oh Its been warm here this week..Warmer than normal..Close to 80 degrees here in East Texas ..I started watching Chad going on 2 years ago and it's been the best Channel ever, then Ralph and LeaAnn started and now Kyle & Shanon...Absolutely the best people ..Such hearts of Gold...They truly let their love of Jesus shine..
Yep, as I mentioned in a comment on your previous video, there is a mating pair that come to a pond behind my apartment building each year on Mothers Day weekend - that's when they migrate back here to Canada, lovely to see them, Thank you for sharing! 💜
Wouldn't it be ironic if the ones behind your apartment are the same ones that are at Chad's now?❤️
@@leeanneletsoncrisler3765 I was actually wondering that same thing! However while I know that they fly an insane distance when they migrate I think that Chad is rather far from Nova Scotia so they might be from a different part of Canada but it would be super cool, maybe Chad can tell em I said "Hi" from the lady who feeds us in the spring! 😁
@@alannahayter8491 that makes sense. They would require a lot of Chad's energy drinks to cover that many miles!😁
You need a apron for all your 🥚🥚🥚like Grandpa.😉 Enjoyed listening to your future plans.👍 Wishing you all the best from 🇳🇿NZ
Looking exciting around there! Adler, I'm proud to be a banana Nana. Blessings, Texas Deb 😁
I love that ! Banana Nana !
Hi Adler ❤😊❤
Welcome to Howdy, Bananas! Love that! 💕🤗
Hey little Farm Boss
When my grandkids were little (like Adler’s age) they called me Nana Banana so I do feel special! Haha so excited for Y’all. Your place will look amazing!
It’s a wonder Bruce doesn’t weigh a ton with the way he eats! 😊
You can't really beat Honda, brother. Some of the best engines out there. God Bless y'all. John V. Mi.
Hi Ralph
Chad from what I've seen on other channels the vet on each channel uses a wire saw it's thin enough and sturdy enough to take the horn off. I'm not sure if you would do it or your vet but that's what I've seen vets do with horns that grow towards their heads so I'm just saying
I love seeing both of the boys with you. God bless you all.
Get some small sized cable about 3 foot long and put handles on each end. Then all you have to do is saw it of, just like the hand saws for doing limbs. The faster you go, the hotter it gets and cauterizes any bleeders.
See those animals eating and you enjoying them makes my heart warm.
😊😊😊
🙋♀️ Hi Case, Adler and Chad!! God Bless and have a Great Evening!! 🌹😊❤
Beautiful sky!
U can cut them off with a Piece of Wire Cutter. A Band will work but it takes time.

I don't understand why I'm not able to post on the live chat. I have been a subscriber forever
Knew it was the one and only one Bruce. He is the boss of the farm when you are not their. Lol 😍
Yall are just coming right along I love that you don't let people get to you you are funny Telling everyone to clam down I watch because you and your family are a blessing to us who can't do the thing's yell do you make my day my husband had a stroke last year and thing's have been crazy ever since so think you for all you do
Prayers for your husband and for you ❤
@pamkammann1176 Thank you so much sometimes I fell like I can't do it anymore 😔 But God and the Angel's keep me goings-on
You can get non-clumping fescue.
Enjoyed your video. Boys are great 👍. God bless
Good job and video. God bless.
You have made my day! You said Bruce and wet cement in the same video...oh, the possibilities! Keep the truck far, far away! God bless you all!
A vet will take a wire with teeth like a saw and saw it off just pull it back and forth it will come right off
You should use some of the tires to plant things like potatoes and cucumbers, squash we did that when i was a teenager on our little farm and it was great, works well and something even Adler could enjoy watching them grow, had tons of veggies works well for strawberries too , your place is looking amazing Chad and you are so blessed with the family God has given you, i pray you continue your walk with God and watch Him bless you even more God bless you and your whole family♥️🙏🙏
Howdy from Monroe Washington
Love watching you on the farm Chad, but I really like watching you and Chase when you guys are cutting up with each other.
Love seeing the geese. Man, we were 80 degrees here in so. Georgia. Today. Love it. Love what you are do8n* to your ranch.
I'm in North Alabama and it was 83 degrees here yesterday and today. Unfortunately we all know what that means. We are nearing tornado weather here (usually worse in March & April) so please keep us in your prayers. My mom is on Hospice now and is bedridden. Leaving home to go to a storm shelter isn't an option. Prayers appreciated.
Sending you and your precious mom prayers. ❤🙏
Prayers to keep y’all safe from tornados and especially prayers for your mom towards her next journey. I don’t know how you feel but there is a channel called Hospice Nurse Julie and she shares what is typically seen with hospice patients as they near the end so the family and caregivers know what it could be like. My brother passed in November 2021, he was in the hospital when he had a drastic change with his cancer so they switched him to hospice care there, he wasn’t able to make the 4 hour drive home. ~ Leanne in Colorado. 🙏🏼❤️
@@Lwah0812 I'm so sorry for your loss. I was a nurse for many years and watched as many patients took their last breath, but no amount of education or experience has prepared me for what I'm facing now.
@@leeanneletsoncrisler3765 I am so sorry you will be facing it with your dear mama. Sending you prayers.
@@pamkammann1176 thank you! Your prayers are greatly appreciated.💙
The shipping crate looks like a great idea for packages 📦Chad! And storage in the shed or shop😊! Yay! The fencing sounds awesome, no more scratched truck and safer for the builders! Your furry friends really like watching you work and inspecting things, but…I’m not sure how comfortable the builders would be😆! Bruce climbing on everything 😁! Longhorns in the tools😁. The whole animal crew really liked when you rolled out dinner 👍🏻! Thanks for letting us see a bit of your busy day and sharing your family with us, take care and God Bless🤗💕!
Chad, you are a wonderfull father to your boys. I love the way you interact with them.
Wow them are some pretty snazzy cover alls. I like the parcel box , great idea. Adler is so stinking CUTE!♡♡♡
CHAD YOU DO A GREAT JOB EDITING. YOU HAVE REALLY WORKED HARD AND ADLER FARMS IS REALLY TAKING SHAPE.
GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR PRECIOUS FAMILY. 🙋🏻♀️♥️🇺🇸
PS. AND YOUR FUNNY 😆
I love your overalls! Rae’s got herself one handsome farm boy. 👍🏻💖👵🏻
God bless, Case and Adler!
Wow Case! You're gonna! get so much accomplished tomorrow after your 2pm slumber. 🤣😂🤣 as Adler says so infatically, God Bless!!! Much love to all of you. 🥰
Nice to see the boys. Your getting it in shape. Looking good.😊
Chad, the property looks great and your future plans with the fencing and sheds sound real solid.God Bless you all 🙏🙏👍👍👍💕💕
Great to ride along with you doing your chores!
Chad, we all knew it would be Bruce, that wasn’t even hard🤣 Will be exciting to get the fences done, wonder how Bruce will handle that?🤔😊 Take care & cheers🥰
❤❤❤❤❤
Bruce the one that didn’t get away. New this place was his from the get go. 💕🙏
You should get one of those boxes and use it for the boys toy box. Ask your Dad if he wants to have a couple for his buckets of feed. Kyle could use one for his feed buckets to. 💜🙏
Chad, the banding works, it takes about a month. Place the band as low as possible and add a wire above it to keep it from rolling up the horn.
We just took a battery operated circular grinder to a cow’s horn that was growing weird. Vet suggested it. Worked easier than a de-horner!
I figured it would be Bruce ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ love seeing all the animals ❤️ ♥️ 😍 thank you for sharing have a wonderful evening ❤️ ♥️ 😊
Yay God bless!! I just love watching y’all grow! Much love ❤️ chad, Rae, case, carter and Adler! And all the animals! ❤
A vet could use a Gigli wire saw to take off Bruce's horn. I goggled it and Amazon has the "wire" and handles for $10.00-$15.00 (depending on the brand)
The animals are looking really well😁 Hi sweet Adler & Case❤God bless y'all❤
Love to see Case again. Handsome dude you've got growing there.
Welcome to Howdy Case and Adler looking great Case, thank you Chad for all you do 🙏🙏🙏🙏 God Bless 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Yes you can band the horn. It will take several weeks before it will fall off. You have to get the band all the way down to the base of his skull. I helped a friend do this to a steer that he didn't want to have horns. Worked like a charm for him.
You probably need to take Bruce to the Vet. ❤ Poor Bruce! It’s going to be painful! I sure hope this all comes out well in the end! I sure love Brucey Boy! ❤ Where there is food, you’ll find Bruce! He had his own feed bowl in the video today. Maybe his girlfriend will start coming around to eat with him.
Help to hold him and a saw...spray with the blue stuff or pine tar as my grandpa did...
Chad, the view at the farm is so very nice. Love seeing the sunshine and clouds.
The box idea is great. Excellent price as well. Toy boxes,garage/shop storage, basics for a playhouse, table & storage for Case or in the cabin. The list is long...
I'm always looking forward to seeing the videos. You have accomplished so much in a very short time.
Prayers and blessings for you and your family
Good evening from Syracuse NY everyone thank you for sharing your adventures and your farm
Brrrr! What extreme weather. Hope you stay warm..love watching the animals and Bruce is a cracking
Normal winter weather just be ready for it
Howdy neighbor. I'm 1hr east of you.
I bought a shipping crate and had a dog house made out of it. My dog is Great Pyrenees and Lab mixed. I had it insulated not realizing that he probably didn’t need it. He does use it though when it is cold here in NC.
Yep at 66 yrs I still have my bicycle / barb wire scar from my 11th year.
Loving all the changes coming ❤😃
Like the Coveralls & your parcel box looks really nice.
Nice seeing the boys with you.
Bruce...oh boy I was right. Love seeing all the animals and the boys. Chad you have beautiful eyes, no wonder Rae fell for you. The geese were fun to see and I like the idea of you building them a nesting box on high.
Hey Chad, you forgot to get back to telling us about the cement guy
With that much difference between high and low temps here in the desert we call that earthquake weather. Although it's usually in the hundreds for highs and 40 to 50,s lows.
Bruce
I knew it would be Bruce first❗️🤣🤪🤣
Cool box. I’m happy to see the South Africa label as I’m a missionary to South Africa, hoping to get back there by end of May.
😁💚❣️
Funny that one of the ads that came up immediately after you mentioned Harbor Freight was theirs
Good morning Chad and Ray. I love what you're doing with the property. I can't wait to see how green your field will be. Can't believe how different the land looks, just beautiful. May Gods hand bless the land ,and guide all your endeavors. May you and family be blessed in all you do. P.S. Love your character.
Hahaha I was clapping when I saw it was Bruce! Oh how the mighty have fallen….I love your videos! God bless and stay safe!
I believe Tipsy is ". nesting". She will more likely have the little one there.
Usually a Vet uses a wire saw to cut horns, because you can't cut it to short or it will start bleeding, just like when you cut your dogs nail to the quick
They make a dehorning wire .. that you can use to saw it off shorter so it doesn’t grow into the scull
Nice your getting fence put up 👍 things are coming together for you'all , happy for you ! The box is awesome for your idea it will make a good parcel box ! God Bless❤
God bless you from Michigan ❤️
Tipsy loving ❤️ the shelter will be helpful when she calves
