  • Hi and thanks for watching.
This is a video shot over two days, from larger town of Astorga, into the mountains, through the TINY village of Foncebadon and eventually Ponferrada, where I spent the night. Buen camino!

    Hi again!
This is one of my favourites as well, for sure! I don't know what it is that being in these mountains feels like some kind of magical is going around, could be the old mountains, the silence in them or maybe just the rug of flowers with those colours. It is a very special place in the Camino.
    Thank you!

Hi. Yes, this was one of my favourite parts. Cool mornings and getting into the mountains more. Some great memories watching this back. Makes me want to be there walking again. Thanks for watching 🙂

It was 31 degrees Centigrade and there was no breeze at all when I reached Foncebadon. Thank you for your video, which brought back many memories for me. Foncebadon reminded me of a small town in the American Old West. None of the wind turbines on the surrounding hills were moving an inch. The early morning colours on the route to Molinaseca were beautiful. For you, seeing those hills after walking the plains must have been like seeing the Atlantic Ocean for the first time on the Finisterre Camino.

So, you spent the night on Manjarin then? Do they still have loo outside on the top of the hill, with beautiful views?
