They seriously do need to fix the lag, its especially noticeable in the new brawl season. KGV seems like it’s way more fun then Vanguard.
Try commander John Arbuthnot Fisher for all of the British battleships with full reload build as inspirations + plus the Epic Boost reload module, only if you can afford the steel.
My fastest reload in Vanguard was 17 seconds and I think it can get even faster than that. The build gives you reload, turret traverse speed, accuracy and range. Also the more health you lose the faster it reloads the main guns. I think you'll enjoy it.
And THAT is why I run dispersion builds on all my BBs that aren't brawlers. Drives me absolutely nuts to scatter shells like that. When I aim at something I darn well want to hit it.
I'm the same way, because their shells coming at me seem to almost never have that problem.

Another lag that not only my have I experienced myself. But I’ve seen in your videos too, is that players guns arnt even aiming at the ship but still get the shot out.

I don’t really like the Vanguard but holy cow every time I randomly use it, it slaps
I thought it was just time having these lag and input issues. Orochi reached out to me asking for evidence of the lag. Everything you mentioned in the first couple of minutes was happening to me too.

So i like the vanguard my issue is rear turret use = death and it feels like because its commonly known to be quishy you get focused on as soon as your spotted

Pretty good game. I was SWMP in the Algerie, with my teammates Tbear and Canadiankiller. Couldn't believe you were in this ship and had to do a double take. And yes, it was a Gamble to see if I could get those torps off, and lost. Ouch. But now I'm famous.

I have to say USS Iowa, IJN Amagi, HMS Vanguard and KMS Bismarck are very fun Battleships being the 4 trech line BBs to be with Legends sanice the start.
Vanguard with Fisher can be really good
I got my Vanguard with 16/3 fisher with epic battle booster with 3% range, to almost 21km
The Brits peak at tier 6 when it comes to battleships imo KGV is really good and on the battlecruiser side it peaks even lower with the Renown. Not counting premiums or legendary ships that is.
The ones your shooting at have maxed out cammos,and max rng in the game,that's why your shells are missing,you can't have every shell hit or if any at times,have fun😊
its funny, war thunder is having similar issues like when you fly by flares or you use your chaff and it sounds like a jet flying by

Yeah, Vanguard has always had obsolete main guns, it's in the description of the ship. The only way I can get it to not suck is with a Cunningham, AL Scharnhorst, and Ciliax build.
obsolete guns? the bl 15 mk2 are widely recognised as the best naval guns ever made especially on vanguard with its super charged shells lol
Another good video Spartan. Now to me the Vanguard is just a souped up Queen Elizabeth, same gun size at 15in, almost looks the same. But at this Tier 15in guns at all that impressive to me with so many 16in guns running around at this Tier. Also add in at this Tier you get Tier 8 and Tier 6 suff all full of 16in monsters plus an 18in one,
Vanguard as said just a souped Queen Elizabeth, and a step up from Georgy Porgy who was a step down from the Queen Elizabeth at lest to me. If someone told me if I could bring back to use either the Vanguard or Queen Elizabeth. I say give me the keys to the Queen Elizabeth, she has a smaller size, a bit better at moving,
I have with her and her sister bullied Tier 4 plus my Tier, along Tier 6 which I find great fun like when I slap a North Carolina player,

i've had way more success with AL Hood on Vanguard than Nelson. seeing how Vanguard basically is a battlecruiser with armor the speed aspect of AL Hood makes vanguard a fun flanker.

Vanguard works for me. It had my highest damage game up until the amagi. Feels accurate to me. The only thing I have a complaint about is the rear turret angles make me a sad panda 🐼
Hey Spartan, I was that "turd" in the Asashio B 😂. I realized it was you only at the very end of the game. If the match hadn't ended my torps would have had you.
As soon as I saw your Base XP in team results I knew this match was going on CZcams.
RNG was letting you live at the end so I guess we both got lucky gg

I love my Vanguard, I have 93k average damage in it with Cunningham, I shoot ap out of it most of the time and it murders any cruiser and battleship superstructure
That's a prime example of why I like the American battleships better than most other countries in the game. I'm sorry to say it but most of the British battleships I think were built primarily as fire spammers biggest exception I can think of is Bellerophon witch as a tier 3 is a true dreadnought. Personally I use Adobe premier but there's plenty of editors out there that are cheaper and good entry level

I doubt the 6inch shells can pen the 14 inch belt but I'll have a look
So I looked, Elbing can pen at under 2km but the others like Felix Schultz can't. This is of course if Elbing as the same Pen as PC

Vanguard is just ok. For me, its a lot like KGV, just hang out long to medium range, don't be the center of attention, lob HE most of the time unless something goes broadside. I actully prefer KGV over Vanguard for that.

It's essentially a Monarch but tends to use HE more than AP but I don't have it personally

Hmd vanguard is simply the best tech tree t 7 ship in the game far better than the iwoa. I can't stand the iwoa iwoa you say the vanguard doesn't turn that's odd that's definitely not the vanguard I use and love she turns a hell of a lot faster than the iwoa. I have been using jhon Fisher and that gives her a 19 seconds reload. You are playing her wrong use he more than ap. I very rarely use ap on her. I use vanguard like a big curser. I have had 193k damaged in the vanguard. But I can't last 5 minutes in the iwoa without getting blown out of the water I can't stand that ship its horrible ship to play put me in the vanguard and well you can see the results I'm getting from the video clip I have put in this comment. I use to use Nelson commander she is fantastic but John Fisher omg a bb with 19 seconds reload is nuts and you most definitely won't be able to do that in an iwoa

You would have knock that iwoa into the next century if you had been using running with scissors. That gives you 15% more damage on your guns. And try using her with jhon Fisher with a 19 seconds reload it's just an amazing ship setting fires every 19 seconds with a reload booster. With the epic mod I got it down to 17 seconds reload 10 seconds reload with using the reload booster. Try doing that in the iwoa. You say the vanguard does not turn well mm odd when the ruder shift is 10.7 seconds with a turning circle of 850 m to the iwoa with 15.6 ruder shift and a turning radius of 920 m. I can't get on with the iwoa it's built like America muscle car built for straight line speed but turns like a bus. Vanguard is built like a classic British sports car you ask it to turn it does what it's told to do right away. Iwoa if you start making a turn it might do it by Xmas 2027 it's horrible. And the armour is made out of cheese. It's a citadel magnet 🧲. If you see incoming shells you can't turn fast enough to get out of the way. Yes the vanguard can be hit hard but she is so fast of getting away from the incoming fire you be very unlikely to get hit hard enough to send you back to port. The problem is people who play the America line get use to the ap pow factor. Try using vanguard with the HE wow factor and burn ships down and most definitely Try jhon Fisher commander Nelson is good my Nelson commander is at rank 4 L 16 had some fantastic results but omg jhon Fisher puts it in a holey different level. If you don't believe me take a look at my 193 k damage game using jhon Fisher commander.it also works very well with hms monarch im also getting a 19 seconds reload on that ship as well as vanguard
Vanguard is not my cup of tea ngl I love King George and I would play it any day of the weak compared to Vanguard. Vanguard citadel Jesus Christ it's like Roma and Yamato, gun firing angles is trash compared to King George it lack volume by fire that's why I sold it (even though I've played it in 1K battle guys don't judge me ).
