- Raw is not Log because Log is in a video format, and raw is not video. Raw data has no video processing baked in and has to be converted into video for viewing. Log is an affordable solution and a better solution to linear. For professional solutions much more than LOG can handle is required.

Hi, can you suggest a buget SLR camera with Raw video recording feature. Purpose is for creating Documentary and CZcams videos.
For RAW recording choose high end cameras.
Buy older used Canon dslr camera which could run Magicb Lantern... You could record raw videos.. to find model check magiclantern website
Magic lantern is not a raw format of canon. It’s a third party product. Lot of users faced so many troubles shooting this way. One of the main reasons black magic cameras are more standardised is avoiding third party RAW cinema dng from their cameras and moving on with Blackmagic raw.
