  • This video demonstrates that it is possible to reverse engineer the protocol used to operate the Dynamic Controls Shark motor controller via the Shark Bus on mobility scooters. I should add that I did not reverse engineer the entire thing myself, credit goes to the people that spent their time and efforts on this, which I will post the forum link to below! I will also be better organizing the information and posting a video on how to actually create this controller and reverse engineer your scooter's protocol.

    Hi Ri5ux,
    Great work!
How did you provide the initial voltage pulse? Would it be possible to share your schematic.

Great videos Ri5ux. I have an RC wheelchair to tow my trailer around the yard. What tires are you running in the front? Keep the videos coming. 👍👍

Thanks! The front tires are a pair of Clever 200x50 pneumatic tires. They sit at 36 PSI. As far as I know they're actually intended for use on a Razor scooter, but they work pretty well!

Nice work. I’m in the process of building a mobility scooter based robot. Could you tell what make and model number the break away connector is.

I'll be making a more detailed video with a web based tutorial showing all the nitty gritty inner workings. It should be the information you're looking for.
