@Joshua Chipman thats massive numbers for an amateur boxing event full of amateur boxers mainly. Also his opponents were never known for carrying big ppv events either. Maybe Woodley had done it before but he wasn't the main fight most of the time.

Not a fan of either guy but lets be honest, Jake has evolved in the last 2-3 years, not only is he improving and sparring real pro fighters but also his confidence has grown as a person under the lights and he trains like a guy thats dedicated to the sport, i am a firm believer in improvement and i just don't see the same spark from Tommy, a lot of pressure being put on Tommy to win the fight and he's not fought the right opponent to prepare for Jake, wouldn't be too surprised if Jake stops him within 6 rounds.

Yeah ok, he started boxing late and then kept training, got better, and beat good opponents for his limited experience but there are so many other boxers out there who, like Jake, started late and got really good, but won’t get any credit for it because they don’t have the social media platform that Jake does.

I think Tommy isn't going to mess around with this fight, he's gonna train like he's fighting for the world title. He genuinely grew up sparring a heavyweight lineal world champion, been around boxing his whole life, looks fit and energetic. I can't see him losing. Jake still moves like an amateur in certain moments during his fights and Tommy is a certified boxer with the knowledge to punish those mistakes. Clinch, jab, power, fitness etc. all at a professional standard and been honed and developed since he could walk. If you honestly believe Jake has a chance of winning you don't know boxing. But as Iron Mike said, everyone has a plan till you get punched in the mouth.
