Masts of transmitter Liblice B - 2x355m - former 639kHz / 1500kW

This is the (very majectic looking) site of the former most powerful AM medium wave transmitter in the Czech republic (and before that also Czechoslovakia). The installed power was 1,5 million watts. It is also one of the tallest (if not THE tallest) AM medium wave transmitters in the world. Until the end of 2021, it used to broadcast ČRo2 - Dvojka on 639 kHz and covered most of the country. Since 2013, it operated on half power, which was still 750 000W. Now silent for more than a year, it awaits what will happen...

Hey, is this tower still silent and safe to climb? Since it it an am tower it is really dangerous

No, the towers are currently transmitting 24/7

Yea since it is an am tower the whole tower is the antenna so I will get fried if I touch it. I hope someday it shuts down again to climb it
