Can you give an installation video on the backup camera
My radio is similar but there's three wires that connect to the green circuit board also, where or what are those wires for? The manual isn't specific at all. I'm think it's to test the radio for power before installation? Manual said something about it but there's no red wire, it's orange white and black that connects in but wires are open with no connection that the wires would go into. Any help would be greatly appreciated. BTW great videos, very helpful, and much appreciated 😊

good video but, you should have replaced the fuse while filming so your viewers could see it working in this video. they might think you didn't install it correctly.

I'm glad it helped. It's a quirky radio. For thr price I was fine with it. Although a few times sound only came from 1 speaker for a few days

You're welcome, I'm glad it was helpful! I've never installed an aftermarket catback exhaust on any of my focuses - because of the high price. But perhaps I can delete a resonator, or something along those lines
I just installed this on my Ford Focus 2014 SE and I have a problem with the ‘Steering Learning’ for (Voice Command), (Forward/Cancel Call), and (Backward/Accept Call) buttons. Do you have these issues?
How do you connect the key wires in to connect steering wheel controls?
Does this unit show the climate controls as you operate the climate alsi doe it show parking sensors as it did on the original screen also hpw does the sound compare to the original radio
Will this radio work with cmax 2013 I'm not sure seems like my cmax has a flat panel between cd slot and screen

At 11:17 yours isn't like mine, it's soldered directly onto the green board. I had a hell of a hard time getting it in and at one point thought I plugged it in the wrong way as I could not get it back out. Glad I eventually got it to seat properly.
I think my canbus may be bad. None of my steering wheel controls are working.

Hey glad to help, you can pause the video where I show the wires connected on the back. They all fit in 1 specific spot and can't be mixed up. Except for one. Take note of the "ugly colored harness" and make sure that's plugged up where I had it. And I believe you need that one attached for the camera but I could be wrong. You can check the manual to be sure. I don't have it anymore and I'd have to pull the radio out to check. If you look at my video "project Focus clutch actuator replacement" I show a possible way of routing the camera wiring into the car

Do you think the 8 core would be a significant performance improvement or no? I had the slowest one (1 gig ram 4 core or something) before i sold my last Focus, and LOVED it and used it every day for bluetooth music driving to work but the Nav was really slow and it didn't have carplay. I didn't mind it but my passengers complained about it. Do you think it matters how fast it is as long as I get the one with CarPlay if I just want music, GPS and the big screen?
I think you should do what makes you happy. I'd get the slower one if the price difference makes it worth it

Also I can't find your video on whether this was a good buy so I have a few questions that I would really love for you to answer if it's not too much trouble my friend.
1: Are there any negatives to owning this?
2: Does this work with the built in microphone in the car or does it need a new microphone fitted?
3: I love the idea of the upgrade but worried I'll regret it and have to fit the original back in! Is it much better and responsive enough to feel like it was always meant to be there?
4: Also do music and radio stations sound any different after fitting the new stereo? As I love the current sound and worry it will be a lot worse.
Finally what company would you recommend buying it from? I'm from the UK but on ebay they seem to sell these under so many different names that I don't know which one to trust to work.

Apologies for the questions but I have been wanting to ask someone who has this stereo these questions for ages as I have been wanting to buy one for ages and ages but the stereo are like 200 odd pounds here and that's quite a bit of money to spend on something that I haven't seen many reviews or complaints about haha
If you can get it on amazon, they're good about returns if you don't like it. It's worked fine for me. Steering controls work. Sounds about the same as the factory radio, I do still have the factory speakers. It comes with a mic you plug into the back
My steering controls do not work, nor the power and others at the bottom of the unit just flahers and locks. Still trying to figure everything else out.

I installed this into my gfs mk3 for her bd abfew months ago
It worked great
However for some reason the lcd is now just black and nothing can bee seen on the screen
But the sound still works and the phone connects to bt.
And also touch buttons work because if I press where the voulume up and down suppose to be.
Has anybody had an issue like that

Would like to have the installation of the backup camera system.
I was able to get everything done, however i can not get the backup camera to work.
Should be able to just plug it into the yellow port on the back of the radio and it'll work on it's own. If it doesn't, check for a damaged cable, dislodged connector, if everythings ok then message the seller on amazon (may need another camera)

I don't use the radio much. But when I have, I've had some quirks - but they seemed to stop doing it. I was having issue with sound only coming from the left front speaker.. but then it started working again. Overall for $120 it's not too bad for the price

I dont believe so. I think that it requires using the supplied camera because its a different connector than the factory one.
Have a quick question Ben. My stock radio had two antenna cables that look similar one is yellow and the other black, all videos I’ve seen so far only have one. Which factory connection one do I connect the aftermarket radio to? Any help would be appreciated.
Maybe one is for the GPS antenna. If you have nav. I'd try to match colors. Or try one and see if you have radio reception. This radio has its own GPS antenna

double check your connections. Theres a connector for the blue box which can fit on top where the "big ugly harness" plugs into and create a short circuit

I'm not familiar with that year model radio options. I see something that may work for you on Temu. But you can google it and get a dash kit..then used a standard double din setup

On the screen, bottom left theres up/down arrows with the volume number in between. You can also use steering wheel controls

Was it working on the factory unit? If so, make sure the wires are hooked up like in my video then write customer support
