Family therapists are quacks. My family did it at home by means of a state employed counselor once because my brother had some behavioral troubles and they are almost as Snake Oily as Chiropractors. All the guy did was mention calling 911 when my dad lost his cool and he is partly why my brother is how he is . I'd go for a seance at a 15 year old goth girl's house for help before I would ever consider even speaking to someone I knew was a family therapist in passing.
