- Well, SpongeBob SquarePants is hosting the Kids Choice Awards this year and of course beat the Simpsons for the Favorite Cartoon award, and naturally Homer Simpson is furious! And things get worse when they both appear at a convention...
Of course SpongeBob won, it always wins by default.
The feels like something I would find in the early days of CZcams in like 2007
I let Nickelodeon know on their official CZcams channel that I’m not excited about the KCAs because I knew SpongeBob would win the favorite cartoon category for the umpteenth time.
And yes, voicing Marge for 35 seasons has put a strain on Julie Kavner’s vocal cords. In one of the newer episodes, Marge’s singing voice was dubbed.
They may as well rename the KCAs the SpongeBob Awards!

The only time The Simpsons ever won a KCA was in 2002. Either kids REALLY loved season 13 or Nick wanted to make it look like they're not rigged. That doesn't work if you do it only once, guys. 🤦♀

And I had to admit and respect how KCA handles the favorite cartoon nominees each year because most people who watched Nick voted a lot.

Or maybe 2025 will be when Disney and FOX finally have a plan on when "The Simpsons" will end, like maybe announce that Season 40 will be its' last.

It'll probably end AFTER "The Simpsons" and "Family Guy" and "South Park" have ended, y'all.
Spongebob may have had it's up and downs over the years. But at least I enjoyed some of the newer episodes. But The Simpsons well not so much and I feel like The Simpsons is trying too hard to remain alive. It would be a miracle of either shows ended if they managed to get great again for a little while.
Yeah, it's not helping that fans have been saying "SpongeBob" has been getting better while "The Simpsons" is getting worse. FOX and Disney are just throwing away money.
@@ZakWolf True. Disney pretty much wasted tons of money acquiring FOX and with so many horror stories being let loose from Nickelodeon and Paramount. It looks like all respect for them is going down even further than it already is.

Is Family Guy still popular? I don't hear much of it today in pop culture.
They're also practically has-beens nowadays, albeit not as much as the Simpsons. Even if it ends up the highest-rated show on FOX on Sunday nights, it's still an incredibly low number, like only a million viewers. But for my animation, I made some fans still come to see Peter and Brian's table, exaggerating the downfall of the Simpsons even further.

@@bryandiaz8019 Well, the nomination's not really worth it, as rumor has it the KCA for Favorite Cartoon is rigged. But more people out there are taking it worse than me. (And this should really be a clue to FOX that the Simpsons needs to end.)
