The good thing is, she is far more likely to find a guy who loves her as much as her Dad because of her Dad. Having a great father helps girls to know what kind of man to look for. My dad was amazing, and I when I met my husband I saw that he had a lot of the same wonderful qualities that my dad had. We've been happily married for 12 years, and I can't imagine my life without him. I was never interested in bad boys like most women, so I picked the sweet loving guy who is so often overlooked. I’m 48 years old and I never had any kids. I found out 5 months ago I have a 27 year old daughter. I would have given anything in the world to have been part of her life. My heart hurts constantly thinking of every moment that I missed. You are a very lucky man. Enjoy every second.
Still does, every day. But we talk on the phone every week and we text each other a couple times a week and we are really getting to know each other. I went to visit her for a three day weekend and she’s coming down in October. She’s amazing the best thing that ever happened to me.

I’m 48 years old and I never had any kids. I found out 5 months ago I have a 27 year old daughter. I would have given anything in the world to have been part of her life. My heart hurts constantly thinking of every moment that I missed. You are a very lucky man. Enjoy every second.

My wife and I took just took our 4 year old to Disney on ice. She had her arms wrapped around mine the entire time. In that moment I realized how much I mean to her, it was such a beautiful feeling. I hope every dad gets to experience that.
