- And now, my first fully-animated, FEATURE LENGTH, original adventure!
Donald and Douglas are looking forward to spending Christmas together, and make plans to attend the Christmas party together. But problems arise when Thomas runs into trouble while taking the Santa Special. Douglas sets off to the rescue... right before a blizzard is due to hit the island...

This was a great Christmas special. Glad things worked out in the end, especially for Donald and Douglas. As for that wretched old brakevan, hopefully being sent to the museum will knock some sense into it's rotting frames (or whatever else you'd describe his head, like steam engines with their smokeboxes and diesels with their fuse boxes).
I'd be careful if I was that brake van, he's now going to have two VERY angry Caledonian engines to contend with...

I see you had some 3d people. how did that come about?
Ah, I still had a few downloads from Si3D and Wildnorwester, before their sites were shut down. Also, I think some others I found on the DLS, like the choir and the funeral procession. It just seemed to be a case of finding and using what I had.
Though, tbh, much as I kinda love this story, I may probably want to get in a bit more practice in filmmaking before I make a film this long again! :)

For your First Visual Production, this was very Impressive.
There were a few troubles such as eyes moving too fast, the Camera being a little too close to the face, the whole 27:47, or faults in the Script but Honestly who cares
It was nice to see something just simple, peaceful, & calming, it’s a nice break from action packed adventures! I hope you had a Merry Christmas, God Bless Us All
Aww, thanks, man! I hope to do a few more visual projects in the future (I do have a few RWS full book adaptations in mind for it). Wish I had more time to sort out those goofs though - I was kinda balancing this with my uni assessment, which had to come first, I hope you’ll understand. Hope you had a good Christmas, too!
