- A large amount high frequency services in rush hour heading around the South East of England at London Bridge station in Central London. Trains include: Southeastern 375s, 376s, 465s, 466s, Thameslink 700s. Filmed on 4th October 2018, Between 15:00 and 16:00. Just one hour!
I also recorded at the same location 3 years earlier during the London Bridge remodeling works! • Trains at Rush Hour Lo... - Auta a dopravní prostředky
London Bridge, the capital's first railway station, opened in 1836. I was there a few days ago on a Class 171 to Uckfield and back, my first train trip during the CO-VID era. I used to stand at platform six, once touted the busiest in Europe. Not so sure about it but it was busy, Thameslink and Southeastern sharing the same platforms which led to many delays. Now, Thameslink has its two platforms and Southeastern has its own platforms to and from Charing Cross as well as Cannon Street. My earliest memory of London Bridge was back in 1990, on a day out to Greenwich. Station's name refers to the nearby bridge over The Thames.
Excellent and informative video with very good subtitles, editing and camera work. Up with the best!
Many thanks for the kind comments Meijiturtle! I’m really glad you enjoyed it.
me too
Great video
Now that the Thameslink has expanded, in the case of starting the journey from London Bridge, it is just one connection to Scotland, at Peterborough where most LNER Azuma trains stop, others whizz by.
Is nice to see some of 465's and 466's combos together with 10 or 12 coaches long 🙌👌
Also London Bridge is the busiest station in the UK like London Waterloo terminates station and u only see one passing service which is 376002 + 376024 from Orpington Down sdgs to London Canon Street but platform 1 to 9 is the southeastern well u only see southeastern but not southern well at least you try through is a good station to go to so well done keep it up mate 😊😉
Yes, this is something which fascinates me about London Railways - there are some strange combinations of 465+466+465 or 465+466+466+466 which occasionally turn up.

I like the south eastern livery..looks classy
It certainly looks much more modern than the old yellow livery. Check out my London Bridge 2015 video for what it used to be like here.
on it now cheers
breeze 147 No Problem. Let me know what you think and where you think I could visit next!
@@StarlifeStudios theres about 5 trains in one compared to our welsh valleys trains they seem huge.i know its numbers but can we have a few lol
I’m glad you enjoyed it. Yeah the trains in London are huge. The rest of the country is worrying about 2 or 3 coaches and they’re there complaining that their trains are 10 coaches not 12!
Hey i have a question about London bridge and Victoria if your doing photography or train spotting are you only allowed on southeastern platforms or is that only for tripods you can't go on the southern?
Hello! To be honest, London Bridge and London Victoria Southern platforms are both horrible for filming! There arent any issues with videoing on them, I just haven't chosen to do it (Mainly because there is more variety on the southeastern side!) Side note: I don't use a tripod 😃
5:42 465's challenged each other to a race
Were most of the Thameslink trains towards Gatwick full during that time?
Hi Jakub, I believe most of them were lightly loaded. They are mostly 12-coaches at that time.
I think can see 6 if not 7 SILVER GREY boxes under the GANTRY, I am wondering these SIGNALS or PLATFORM BOARDS for each TRACK, showing a NUMBER.
I would like to know the SIZE of these - PLEASE
Nice new thumbnail
Your always playing attention aren’t you Lord Everything 😃 I made this new one yesterday and wondered if you’d see it! I’m glad you like it, I felt the old one was too boxy.
Go to Glasgow Central
Hi Justin, it’s part of my plan for next year to spend a few weeks in Scotland. Thanks for the suggestion of Glasgow Central, I would love to re-visit.
Why does Thameslink have Headcode 9? Maybe because they are last priority?
Headcode 9s (normally reserved for Eurostar) are actually (historically) even more important than Headcode 1s. I believe it is used only to differentiate between operators and treated with the same priority at 1s. Hope this helps 😃
@@StarlifeStudios This reminds me of priority on a Roblox game called SCR (Stepford County Railway) (9>1>2>3)
