WADR Station Director on Radio's Role in Addressing Development Challenges| Special interview

WADR’s Station Director, Agnes John Thomasi, spoke about the mandate and mission of the subregional hybrid broadcaster on Democracy Radio in Abuja, Nigeria.
Mrs. Thomasi emphasized the importance of creative radio content and its power to reshape, refocus, and re-engineer policies and discussions around democracy, governance, peace, and security, among other topics.
She asserted that many developmental challenges related to security, education, the environment, health, gender and human rights, youth, and unemployment can be addressed through stakeholder engagement.
