I don't take any credit for this I just found the original video to not be very clear at times, but I recommend watching it cause I probably also missed stuff myself - Hry

For anyone not getting the DLSS Frame Generation Option after pressing "End", add "dlssg_dlsstweaks_wrapper.dll" after the backslash in dlsstweaks.ini file after the Game Path. Thanks for the Video Finn ❤

Why do you have to repeat copying the pure dark again folder files when those files are already in the other folder copied?
Are you going to try FSR2 to FSR3 frame generation mod by LukeFZ ? In theory, the mod should evolve to support frame generation in all games that support FSR 2.
I did try it in AC Mirage and Dead Space but it just didn't work for me no matter what I did. I will look into it again tomorrow though cause I'm likely doing something wrong since I've seen it working for others

@@VictorHugoConteGarcia I decided to not use it in Ready or not as I do not think it's quite ready with the bad ghosting after movement and distracting HUD elements, but I used version 7.3 of FSR v220 with only those folders added to the main directory. You should get a black box with text log before start up if everything is working. How are you currently installing it? After that, If you already have upscaling turned on in the game, it will work automatically.
So this works with dlss? Not just fsr2 being replaced by 3 and adding frame gen?
Cool video. Sort of an off topic question but how are you using 90%+ gpu with 62C thermals? Incredible. I have a legion 5 3060 ryzen 7 and it goes 85C with rdr2 at 90% gpu usage. I even use a laptop stand. And fans clean as heck too. Any tips would be much appreciated.
Try undervolting it on MSI afterbunner, it worked very well for me, with 95% use the temperature hardly exceeds 65C in cyberpunk
Legion Fan Control but I only tested for 20 seconds so the temps didn't rise
@@levarcane did it and it did increase performance and lower temps by about 5 degrees C but nothing to write home about. I realised when checking the numbers that the cpu would have low usage and 82+ temps. Probably is the cause for my Gpu to heat up due to shared heat sink. Will now go for the last resort and probably the root of the problem on the 2-3yr laptop...thermal paste. Will edit this post once I've done it. Thanks for the tip 👍🏻
Edit - old gunk paste removed and new one in. Lowered another 6C. So now hovering around low 70s with cpu tdp lowered too. I'll take that.
I personally went from temps of 82 on full GPU usage to 62 after replacing the thermal pads and applying higher quality paste to the gpu
Lapptop GPUs are rather impressive now a days. I have a Victus RTX 4050 and it reaches around 54-55c at max 100% loads, whereas the CPU can reach upwards of 90c.

Ah I see you are a man of culture as well. You turned off your R7 5800H boost to have lower temps haha. Same did I and don't regret it. In fact, you kinda have the same fps in games but with half the power consumption and -30°C. For me only game that lost a lot of fps was CS2 (lost about 30 fps). The rest ran almost the same
What's the difference between disable boost and keep it on but limit the freq? As I know if you turn off boost then your CPU will only runs at base speed 🤔
@@haiminhnguyentuan1312 limiting the freq or undervolting would be a better choice since your CPU will still boost (to an extend). Turning it off will lock the CPU at it's base clock in every task. Since R7 5800H is already fast enough and didn't want to bother to undervolt it, I turned the turbo completely off. I lost a few fps in most games and that's it, you can't really notice the difference (maybe only in CS2). Mine runs now at 60°C and has only 15w of power draw in games, which is insane
I did try to turn off boost and saw the FPS was like normal but still had a feeling like it was somewhat fluctuant

some game with low cpu demand doesn't affect the outcome fps with TurboBoost off, but some game (high cpu demand) get hugh fps drop
I think I did everything right but my game doesn't crash also shows the advanced settings unlocked when I open settings for the 2nd time to make it crash when its supposed to. It wouldn't be a problem but the Frame Generation option also doesn't show when I press End

Anyone maybe to help me out here? Ive got everything working, followed all instructions in the video and comments. End brings up the menu etc. however the game freezes when loading in. Tia

IN GAME: triple buffering off, VSYNC on, DLSS set to auto,
ON YOUR WINDOWS: Hardware Scheduling on your windows set to ON (this MUST be on) along with Game Mode
Also, you need a 20/30 series card at least (DLSS abled cards only I think)
After changing in game settings the game crash, do i have to do something else before that?
@@Pariente_Nook had that issue too, best way to fix that is if yu temporarily remove the "mods" folder in RDR2 folder, then change in game settings first, or it'll crash
I cant do that because the game cant even start at all,just sying loading and than quiting...

it is not fixed yet but the guy has said that he will fix it in time
The game started to stutter, after turning on FG nothing happens, FPS stand still and the game still stutters, it doesn't work, I don't recommend it
late replay but you must have tripple buffering turned on turn it off :)
when i did it i had mad stuttering and the camera started jittering violently

This is a mixture of mods for FG for 20/30/40 series gpus and instead of just for 40 series
@@Morgan-gp3vy I assume it's Nukem9 and PureDark mixed version then.... No worries but LukeZ dropped a new version of FG mod which supports red dead redemption and it works in any GPU.... In case of compatibility LukeZ mod is better but I heard Nukem9 mod is more stable and it's free.
Dlss tweaks ini isn't in the files I done everything this video said but it isn't there

It worked after I followed the original video.
For me I just had to type "dlssg_dlsstweaks_wrapper.dll" after indicating file location like this "file location|\dlssg_dlsstweaks_wrapper.dll". If this doesn't work go check the original video. hope this helps. @@whitemoon5340

I also tested this mode, works perfectly fine and adds extra avg 50 FPS for me but HUD and subtitles have some jittering problem, hope those will be fixed in the future updates..
@@Augmented_Realism They really need to specify if they used the LukeFz or Nukem mod because there are free mod and some are paid. Not everyone willing to pay lamo that's why they went with free alternatives. It often confuse confused confusion. But seeing that it's not coming from Github just know that it's LukeFz mod I guess. 🙂

thanks man the frame generation doesnt work at all and i cant change any settings at all because it crashes when i apply, doesnt even save when i restart the game 😊also not like i can just delete this because 23 of these files replaced original game files so if i did that my game would be broken and id have to reinstall it all over again 😎😎😎😎

honestly, my performance was halved... rtx 4070ti i913900k 32gb ram. was getting stable 110+ with dlss enable at quality mix of max and high settings.. now it's a VERY bad 60-70 fps reported but feels like 20-30

I installed reshade and all that succesfully but when I pressing "N" nothing happens, but I can press Home to access Reshade menu just fine, I have HAGS enabled.

Laborieux , je l ai fait en suivant le tuto d origine avec votre méthode c est pas simple en tous cas voila mon analyse du mode avec un 5800X3D et une RTX 3090 le mod ne fonctionne pas en pleine écran, si vous voulez modifier une option après mod exemple activer le DLSS changer une option graphique 9 fois sur 10 crash assurer a partir de cette instant tous devient laborieux et susceptible de planter a la moindre occaz , les fichiers du Mod les envoyez dans votre corbeille sans les supprimer ensuite relancer le jeu et modifier et ajuster vos choix d 'options souhaité après fermer le jeu restaurer les fichiers dans la corbeille et redémarrer cela devient vite un chemin de croix ,score du jeu en détails haut en 3840x1080 49 pouces Fenêtré 90 FPS qui lague et FG activé 180 FPS qui lague alors peut être que en 1080P cela rame moins mais ce mod est expérimentale et bien sur a tester uniquement en mod histoire sinon RockStar Game avec qui je suis vous Ban avant que vous eu le temp de respirer, donc au finale ce mod est pas simple a mettre en place pour un résultat médiocre pire que l originale alors ne perdez pas votre temps le but premier d un jeu c est de jouer pas de s enmerder a l infini
