What happened to The Rat ride (indoor completely dark) & when I was a teenager they had the Hell Slide (showing my age now!) which was a big, very high & very vertical slide......
I haven't been there in years but what a great day out it is, The Ultimate is really good, very deceiving in videos but that thing is fast, as it closed down now?
It's very sad with the way Lightwater Valley has moved on to. And thrill rides that are used to operate there are either been removed from the park or left in the park abandoned? I can't see The Ultimate operating at the park again which is a shame. But at the end of the day there's Flamingo land to head to.
I do totally agree with you, I think that family parks need theming and without it, it’s just a fun fair which light water valley is slowly becoming. I don’t think ultimate will open again either. Nether less flamingo land is amazing 🤩
I went there yesterday and number 8 i went in it twice i didn't feel dizzy nor sick i was just die in g from laughter i went on swan ride number 10 8 7 5 3 my cousin went om number two and after coming off she felt sick
I think they are struggling. Didn't they get bailed out like a few years ago? Don't think they have a pot to piss in hence the lack of investment into better (and bigger) attractions.

To my knowledge it hasn’t opened in the last 2 years however it is still on the website and could make a return.

The ultimate is not on anymore! In fact all the intense rides are off the menu!
Unfortunately it is not, however when I was making this top 10 it was still on the list otherwise I wouldn’t have had it on

The giant roller coaster is not allowed anymore I think
Currently, despite it not being open for the last 2 years or so it is still on the ride list so we thought we should include it 👍

I hope you had an amazing trip and some times the Swan rides can be pretty intense. Ngl I feel sick sometimes afterwards
We went with Phoenix House.....back in 2001.....it was alright......coulda been better

Yea they are, recently they got brought by the Brighton pier group so hopefully they will develop soon
