- Mike and Jason head to Yosemite National Park to take on the Tuolumne Triple Crown. This route is a roughly 11 mile technical rock climbing traverse & scramble that crosses three iconic peaks, Tenaya, Matthes Crest and Cathedral Peak. They’ll follow up the triple crown on day 2 with a 17 mile long trail run to take them from Tenaya Lake trailhead down into Yosemite valley.
ABOUT BEAT MONDAY:
The concept is simple: adventure athletes Mike + Jason have 64 hours from Friday 5pm-Monday 9am to go as far, fast, and hard as they can with one goal: To beat Monday.

Funny, we(two females) met you guys on the trail after Cathedral. We told you we were lost and needed help. You took off running (to film the show)… guess the show was more important than The AMGA Code of Ethics and Conduct

Lol. So, that guy left for the Boston airport at 5 pm, took a nine hour flight, drove three hours, and it was still daylight? I get there is a time difference, but im not buying it. That’s like a 14 hour trip, minus 3 hour time change. He would have gotten zero sleep for the first day. The concept of this show is cool, but don’t push the total time limit concept so hard if you aren’t going to deliver on it.
Triple crown is supposed to be done in 24 hrs...
It is a cool concept but cheating on the very basis of the show to allow for travel greatly undermines the concept
