    What camber plate did you purchase and where did you get it from?

    if i just have lowering springs, can i add negative camber to my wheels if everything else is stock. As i see in this video i see that ill need camber plates, but is there anything else i need to add camber?

    Is there a reason you switch from PBM toe arms to Megan racing? Do you notice a difference?

    and the left handed threads are for the vibration so that the nuts actually spin and makes them selves tighter instead of becoming loose

    I want to take camber out, like get back to 0 camber how would I do that?

  • @ALMR54
    @ALMR54 Před 5 lety

    So after you set your camber to your own preference, then you take it to get aligned? Does that go hand-in-hand with the toe-arms?

  • @LosingMyMind13
    @LosingMyMind13 Před 4 lety +1

    So I recently got the camber plates as well, maxed them out right off the box, but noticed that when at full lock, my stabilizer links would rub up against the wall, did you come across this problem as well?

    • @chris_borges
      @chris_borges  Před 4 lety

      Yes I tried hammering it for more clearance but eventually just removed those sway bar links and ran it without.

  • @jino4044
    @jino4044 Před 4 lety

    Nicely done! One question though, when you take it to the alignment shop do you tell them not to touch the camber? Even though you put -7 degrees its probably not exact and probably has different values on each sides.. do you try to match them up so you have exactly the same camber, or you just leave it

    • @chris_borges
      @chris_borges  Před 4 lety

      I make a guess on how it looks at home then I tell the alignment shop to put it at the exact degree when I get it aligned!

    For the rears is it just the Pbm control arms and toe arms?

  • @wrxcbr6rr
    @wrxcbr6rr Před 5 lety

    The heim joint was not installed properly. I’m guessing it was done that way to be able to access jam nuts and adjuster. Proper way is to screw adjuster all the in, heim all the way in, hold heim(so it can’t turn), then make your adjustment. This allows full range of adjustment (arm can be made as long or short as possible). Subframe may have to be cut some to access jam nuts. I do alignments on plenty of low cars and drift cars. Very common mistake when people install heims and adjusters incorrectly. Important to do properly prior to install. Saves time and money. 👍🏽

    how do those pbm's feel? im thinking about getting those on my frs as well to even out the 1inch gap on the rear even though my coils are maxed, will these bad boys do the trick?

    • @chris_borges
      @chris_borges  Před 5 lety

      they're awesome. these can drop your car super low. believe it or not with my track stance setup, I had to raise my coilers to almost the max height they can go because the arms lower the car so much. they will definitely fix your problem. great investment for going low!

    So im trying to adjust my camber positively im trying to get the rear wheels closer to being straight up and down. I don't need a toe arm for that right?

    • @chris_borges
      @chris_borges  Před 4 lety

      you don't need to, you should be fine with the stock toe arms.

  • @vincentque2188

    what do i need for the front to have negative camber? only camber plates and bolts? how about the alignment?

    • @chris_borges
      @chris_borges  Před 5 lety

      Vincent Que yes it’s in the video plates and bolts. and you will need to take your car to an alignment shop after to get it properly aligned.

    Hey when you installed the Bc were you able to adjust front oem tie rods for bump steer? I have really bad bump steer with Bc extreme low maxed negative camber and I wondering if the oem tie rod can be adjusted

    • @chris_borges
      @chris_borges  Před 4 lety

      Team No Sponsors I believe the oem tie rods can be adjusted. As far as the rubbing with the end links on the frame from negative camber, I just removed the whole end link itself to avoid that LOL and ran none.

    • @miamimotogroup5371
      @miamimotogroup5371 Před 4 lety

      Chris Borges yo do you get any bumper steer when slamming the car? I get a lot, have you heard of bump steer? Because I have the extreme low coils and I can’t find any help on this

    • @chris_borges
      @chris_borges  Před 4 lety +1

      Team No Sponsors I may have misinterpreted your first comment when I replied. What is bump steer? I haven’t heard of it.

    • @miamimotogroup5371
      @miamimotogroup5371 Před 4 lety

      Chris Borges Bump Steer is when your wheels steer themselves without input from the steering wheel. The undesirable steering is caused by bumps in the road. It happens when cars are lowered. I’m asking cause I’m having this issue. Do you have any custom front arms other then the end-links that came with coils?

    • @chris_borges
      @chris_borges  Před 4 lety

      Team No Sponsors Ahh i see yeah bump steer sometimes happens with me. I don’t have any custom arms.

  • @dhillonmaharaj4863

  • @k1ndalow

    Know its a old video but just installed these on 2020 wrx and the hole where the bottom of the coil mounts to the lca the bolt isnt long enough or did I do something wrong. The bottom mount for the coil is in the top hole not the, The bottom was to much of a drop. The nut will go on the bolt but not enough of the bolt to thread the nut all the way on, Didnt know if the bolts threads needed to be facing the front of the car if that changes anything or the back. (Have them facing the front right now.) Just trying to gather info before its on the ground and the coil comes loose because something wasnt tightend.
    Thanks in advance if you get around to responding to this, or if you don't have a clue that's cool too just gathering info.

    • @chris_borges
      @chris_borges  Před 2 lety +1

      Try switching that bolt with the bolt that is used closest to the outside of the car for the axle area. I believe that one is longer.
