A feeling of pensive sadness never fails to overwhelm me whenever this song is being played on my playlist. You get to relieve the emotions that both brothers felt while being separated and their longing for each other. And what's even more mind-blowing is that this song can be depicted both ways. From Hyeon's perspective towards Min and from Min's perspective towards Hyeon which makes it even more melancholic. "Protect yourself from disappearing. When things gets hard, remember me. I really wanted you. So I hope that you'll stop for a moment and look at me."Hyeon asking Min to stop himself from disappearing (towards his illness) and to remember him when things gets rough, remember that he had wanted Min all these while. And it works both ways for Min's perspective as well. Min telling his hyung that it wasn't his fault he turned out the way he did hence, Hyeon needed to protect himself mentally and physically from disappearing cause none of it was his fault. When things gets rough, remember that his entirety is one of Min's reason for existence. Hence, Hyeon needed to hang in there and not give up, on himself or them. He needed to fight.
That is why I find it genius they chose Dear Cloud to sing this song, their vocalist have this deep voice that can tell the story of the brother, but she also have softness in her voice that can tell the story from the perspective of the female lead (in other words Dear Cloud's vocalist have androgynous voice that can tell the story of the two main stories at the same time)
I really agree with you guys. I watched this in a day!!. I just didn't want to forget the look on Min's face..he is a great actor who leaves an incredible impression of himself in his dramas. I keep watching Reply 1988 just because of him. this drama got me thinking also about who we view as a hero and a psycho and how the world has shaped our thoughts where we refused to understand others for who they are and how they can be.. I loved this drama.its the best on psychological issues!
I absolutely agree with SparkzMxzXZ that SEO IN GUK was not given enough credit in this show. He wasn't the psycho but he was made to think he is. So the expressions demanded of him had to be subtle and complex. Yet not flat. With due respect to Park Bo Gum who is one of my favourite actors, it's easier to act the psycho as he knows what is expected of him and he did a great job at that. But I could feel Seo In Guk 's pain and anguish so much when the 2 brothers reunited in the art room, that I too cried with him. He is one actor and singer who is grossly under rated in S Korea. Especially when he has a beautiful voice that can transcend different genres. I hope S Korea will look out for her talented sons.

I didn't ilke the drama, but I love the actors, Seo In Guk and Jang Nara did a fabulous job portraying their characters. Not to forget my Park Bo Gum's acting in this one. His acting is absolutely fantastic in the two dramas I have seen of him so far. His character in this drama and Reply 1988 are completely different yet he played them so well!

Gawd this drama made me a mess, especially since I could relate to it so well, me and my sister were separated at a young age and after 6 years, we all finally living together again and the feels just gets me everytime
I wonder why everyone's saying that the romance was unnecessary and that it should just have the bromance - I agree but I think the romance between Lee Hyun and Ji An helped release the tension a bit. Plus, whilst Lee Hyun was feeling guilty about Min, someone had to be there for him otherwise he'd just crumble.
