I actually like the "ghosting" effect you get when your cat is leaving the scene during the exposure.
🤗
It never occurred to me to try digital pinhole. So cool.
👌
Excellent explanation. Thankyou very much !
Glad it was helpful! 🤗
Great video! Can’t wait to try it.
🙏
Thank you for the video, very informative. Going to try pinhole photos on my digital Olympus E-500 and my old film OM-1, very exciting!
Thank you 🙏🏻 for sharing - and best of luck with your pinhole photography project 🙂
Thanks for the video.
I enjoy shooting digital pinhole and film pinhole.
I enjoy 6x7, 6x9, and 6x12cm medium format film pinhole and 4x5 inch large format film pinhole more than I enjoy digital pinhole.
However, I enjoy APS-C and micro 4/3 digital pinhole more than I enjoy 35mm film pinhole.
Wow! You certainly have done a lot of different types of pinhole photography 👌
Great instructional video with nice results! Cats….🙂
Thank you Kim! 🙏
Watching a few of these digital pin hole videos, I'm going to use a body cap. Drill hole in middle and punch a pin hole in a piece of aluminum soda can. Using a Canon T7.
👍
I recommend going to a secondhand junk store and buying a cheap plastic film camera. The plastc lens gets removed and replaced by the pinhole. Now, just poking the needle through the aluminum film leaves torn edges which can affect the image quality. You might try a piece of a beer can. Then you use the push pin to indent a small dome into the aluminum but not make a hole. This is hole is then made by using a piece of fine abrasive cloth to wear away the top of the dome so you end up with a tiny round hole instead of a jagged edge and the edge is super thin, eliminating unwanted reflections
Thats a great 👍 tip for making the hole in the aluminum! Thank you for sharing 🙏🏻
lensbaby makes a very interesting pinhole lens that i really enjoy using with my fuji xe-1.
Thanks for sharing! Yes, my next step will probably be to buy a "proper" pinhole "lens" - thanks!
Photo Autopilot as I call some modern cameras. Sometimes its fun to hand fly. 😉
Yes, I find I learn a lot about what is going on when I shoot in a more auto pilot-ish way, and I find it makes me a better pilot overall 🙂
No reciprocity failure here. Digital photography has some advantages.
Agreed - pinhole and film in same package is a bit too engaging for my taste 😀
That said, pinhole cameras are the cheapest way to get into long format. In sheets of film because the bits & bytes don't get there. Yet.
