- Christopher eagerly purchased singing funky monkeys from Cheri for $1,000, drawn in by the allure of their ROMs. However, upon receiving them, his excitement turned to disappointment. The monkeys were not as promised; they were rusty and moldy, far from the pristine condition he expected. With a heavy heart, Christopher realized he had been deceived, leaving him saddened by the unexpected turn of events.

So you actually restored them? Or was that description a joke lol? If you did that was really cool and I'm very sorry that they were all rusted. That must've been extremely disappointing and complex to do. Regardless I'm very glad that you have them!
The description is actually something my friend sent me (I’m pretty sure it was Ai generated lol). The description was a joke, and I actually knew what the condition of this was like before I purchased it. It was very rusty, dirty, and broken, but yes I restored it and it’s in great shape now. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase lol.

I’m pretty sure it’s just a mistake gemmy made. His face being white doesn’t really make any sense. The prototype in the stock photo I showed in the video has fuzzy fabric so it had to have came before this, and that one has a purple face. Not to mention the nose is still purple on this one, it has purple thread, and no other funky monkey we’ve seen has a white face. Gemmy makes thousands of items, and not to mention the people who actually MAKE the items are the people in China who are just taking orders from the designers in the US. It isn’t too crazy to think there could’ve just been a miscomunication somewhere or a color just got mixed up for a batch of samples.
