Thanks for the tips. I always use nexus pro x with only one small spacer to protect more the durability of the spring.
Holy crap I was literally about to install that high powered spring into mine with the included spacers and one of Xfoxgames spacers, so you definitely saved me the hassle of ruining my spring! Thanks for that tip so much!
You're welcome
Looking great! thanks for the info
You're welcome
I honestly was hesitant on changing my 280mm barrel to a 400mm barrel. But I kept getting inconsistent numbers with a 20mm spacer on the stock spring and 280mm barrel.
As soon as I dropped a 400mm barrel in, it was much more consistent. Hitting around 220-230fps with AF Ember darts. Still a very easy prime for a 25-30fps increase. I was averaging around 190-195 completely stock.
How accurate is dragon darts? The bamboo darts are on sale on their website if you want to get some.
Problem is with bamboo darts and dragon darts their lighter you lose accuracy
Such as when I play I use worker 1.2 g bamboo heavies
The only time that I use Dart zone bamboo darts is just for testing just if I want to see really insane numbers
Play in my humble opinion the only did they cost more than worker darts and they're just not worth it because they're lighter and they're inaccurate I only want them in testing
I'm getting 260 to 270 with the HP spring and one spacer on Worker orange tip bamboos. Prime is STIFF lol...it's fun but I wouldn't run that in a game because of the effort to prime takes too much time.
Exactly
That also tells us the springs aren't made from spring steel.
Yeah exactly and I haven't had springs do that in a while
No AR-15 rear grip. Minus 10 points. 😂
I didn't see the point of putting a $20 grip on a $50 blaster it doesn't really help performance LOL
@@milosmods Because you can, on a DZ blaster. That's the point. When was the last time you could do that on a DZ blaster? Show what else you can do to improve the overall feel of the blaster maybe? It's like preferring to sit in a plastic lawn chair versus sitting in a Lazy Boy. Money shouldn't be a factor in this when it comes to modding; performance related or not. Do we ONLY focus on performance when modding cars? Comfort is a big deal, especially when it's the part you're touching the most.
Mine's a rubberized Magpul and it's 🔥🔥🔥 compared to the cheap, uncomfortable stock grip.
@@adamb416 yes that is the first easy Blaster that can do that absolutely I won't take that away from you but however you can do it with the game face trion
You can do it with a sabre as well but to me the grip is comfortable and if I want to rubberize it all I would have to do is just get a bicycle and or two and slide it over 😁
And to be honest with you as nice as Daisy blasters are they're not their best in the world trust me
And I'm sure your group was very inexpensive but I just didn't see the point
You got to remember when you do modification you can take it as high as you want to go or as low as you want to go you could do whatever you want to it and I chose not to do that modification just simply because I did not see the point in it
If I'm going to spend money on a modification it's going to be for performance first and foremost if a statics work into it afterwards great put aesthetics are not my number one goal
@@milosmods 1. Why are we talking about money? 2. So this is a performance focused modification channel ONLY 3. How does this get people excited about getting into the hobby if you're ONLY looking at the Nexus Pro X's (arguably the best entry level blaster ever) performance potential when there is so much more that the DZ team did to make the blaster special? Talk about missing opportunities because "you don't see the point"...is this channel for you or for other people to learn from? The gun was $50. Even more reason to spend more money on it to gear out. Because it DIDN'T cost a lot... minus 10 more points.
A modded nexus pro x still has plastic internals. A modded Xshot longshot doesn't. I don't see the appeal of the pro x.
Well the appeal is when the price point yes the XLS is cheaper but the XLS the plastic is also really thin I've already cracked two XLS blasters shells that is
The Nexus has a better quality plastic and the excellence doesn't have all metal internals it only has three internal metal parts and that's counting the tube but to each his own maybe the Blaster is not for you
@@milosmods under what load did you crack the XSLS? By that I mean how high was the fps? Mine hits 250 with a 14kg spring and a pvc spacer. Think the shell will eventually crack under that load?
@milosmods the catch, plunger arm, and tube are metal on the XSLS. How many of those can be upgraded to metal on the nexus pro x? Certainly not the plunger tube. If that ever breaks, you'll need a whole new blaster. If my shell ever cracks, it won't make the blaster unusable, at least at first.
@@I_love_burnt_toast I used 8 in of k25 and after about 800 shots to Shell actually started to crack I noticed it when I was priming it and I could see the shell warping so yeah
@@milosmods no idea on the fps with that k25 spring?
