  • If you have a hard time eating your greens, this is for you. đŸ„Ź
    My favorite way to enjoy dark leafy greens and other green vegetables. đŸ€€
    ~TOOLS~
    🛒 Fermented tofu: amzn.to/43jfaoy
    đŸ”Ș Shun 8" chef's knife: amzn.to/3J82Pe2
    đŸ§‘đŸ»â€đŸł Calphalon stainless steel pan with lid: amzn.to/43LerfQ
    ~RECIPE~
    INGREDIENTS
    * 1 bunch of pea tips (other options include: spinach, bok Choy, Swiss chard, asparagus, broccoli, broccolini, cabbage, green beans, etc)
    * 2 cubes fermented tofu, mashed
    * 3-5 cloves of garlic, sliced/minced/grated
    * Salt to taste
    * Cooking oil (we like avocado); see video for no-oil method
    DIRECTIONS
    1. Rinse the pea tips and drain them.
    2. Heat a tablespoon of oil in a pan or wok over medium heat.
    3. Add the garlic and fermented tofu and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Do not let it burn. Melt the fermented tofu into the oil.
    4. Add the pea tips to the pan and toss them with the garlic and fermented tofu mixture. Stir-fry (or steam by putting a lid on the pan) for 1 minute at a time until the pea tips cook to your liking and become tender. (I like the stems to be cooked through but not soggy.)
    5. Season with salt to taste.
    6. Remove from the heat. Optional: top with roasted sesame seeds.
    7. Serve with steamed rice and anything else your heart desires. I prefer rice and kimchi.

    Im portuguese from portugal but marrying a asian woman for sure. Have been looking into eastern medicine and culture overall. They understand life is a cycle

    Preserve tofu is like Australia’s Vegemite. You don’t eat it from the jar like peanut butter.

    Could this be done with miso?

      Absolutely - miso is also fermented so you’ll get that depth of flavor. It is different from this (fermented tofu) but will definitely work too!

      I may try the tofu. The jar you had had reviews that it wasn't funky enough. 😀 I'm sure it's just fine for me.

      @@rlshieldsok haha! Yes, this brand's got great flavor. I'm not partial to this brand in particular - any fermented tofu I've tried has been great 😊
