This can be done as soon as you get Wyrdeer. Also, don't purely rely on Outbreaks and keep an eye out for when Chansey can flee from you!
There's an alpha chansey right next to one of the camps in the cobalt coastlands, iirc .
And you mentioned it later on, heh. I took it out with my decidueye.
Not many people know this but pineapple berries give an exp boost
pinap*
Some things never change. Chansey is just doomed to be fodder for our quests for power.
minimize and toxic
I finished the game and this will be helpful.
Im not sure wether grinding levels early would’ve been better, but i think playing the story 10-15 levels below the story made it more fun due to the challenge… except for the fact somehow I still oneshot with super effective moves.
Ayee! Congrats on beating the game! Thanks for the comment!
Great video! Good information and very thorough!
Good informative video. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing!
Very helpful:)
Good video, but earlier players might need to be warned that blissey is uncatchable before rank 4 which gives you leaden ball recipe. threw dozens of oran berries and great balls or heavy balls dont seem to have any effect. thankfully i was rank 3 by the end of the noble kleavor though so should be there soon. since sturdy doesnt seem to exist in this game so far she will just one shot your team if you try to fight without midlevel rank (im pretty sure all alphas will do this considering what ive observed so far, even heard they go as high as lv 80+ where sneak tactics will likely be forced instead of advised like it is early on)
edit: just found a way to catch her easily, leaden ball and put honey cake on the ground once her back is facing you. caught her twice in less than 10 minutes like this at rank 4
Nice video
i use pinap berries for the bonus xp and capture the 2 blisseys (One by alpha garchomp and one below the arena that you showed) and chansey (next to the blissey by alpha garchomp) in the icelands on repeat
Great video. There's a way to make these Icelands Blisseys re-spawn by just rotating btw - you don't need to reset it.
True! I forgot to specify the resetting is efficient if you're ultimately also attempting to spawn an outbreak. Good callout!
What exactly do you mean by rotating? Like just going to Jubilife then back?
You could, if possible for you, catch one or two of those machokes as suggested by another CZcamsr and use those to fight the alpha bliss. After successfully defeating it you can then use those same machokes to deal with the various other machokes within that area as well for additional decent exp. I wandered upon an alpha chancey and two alpha machokes as well.
Yes you could. Early on it’d still be difficult based on research level where it becomes a coin flip whether your mon listens to you or not even if you are the original OT, but in theory yes. It adds more time and there’s definitely many variations to these methods. Great callout!
@@CurseShaka Great video by the way!
I managed to snag myself an alpha machoke that's now a machamp
I found the lv 62 Blissey is easy with a Typhlosion (if you don't have a strong fighter-type), since it's a ghost type. Wait out the soft boiled + calm mind spam, and heal if needed with their random move that may damage Typhlosion. Once Blissey only uses its double edge attack, use your fire type (or other preferred moves). This got my starter to lv 65, which helps with grinding and leveling up any other Pokemon you have in your team.
I have been farming the coastland using my Monferno with shadow claw and Mach punch to hit up the Alpha chansey and Alpha dusknoir
Catch 2 machock, back strike blisy with machock and use close combat, will take 1-2 and ok. Also it’s pretty easy to catch even in a pokeball.
There are sand bars that you can walk on to reach the Chansey in Cobalt Coastlands. Don't need to even have Basculegion.
Use Razz berries instead of oran berries in order to increase their catch rate
Thanks! I always died at the giratina part but when i saw this vid i immediately lvled up all my pokemon to 100 and finally caught arceus you really helped me!
Ayeee!! Good stuff appreciate you!
Did you have to catch every pokemon and get research for them up to 10 for arceus to appear or just need to catch them once?
@@luqmuhmmad2616 You need to get them to 10 i think idk havent completed the game yet
@@luqmuhmmad2616 You don’t need research level 10, you just need to catch everything
@@luqmuhmmad2616 you just have to catch every Pokémon.
I use sticky gloob 4 times on chansey then catch it from it backs for sure.
so im in the post game and i got alpha typhlosion and im currently farming the alpha lucario and garchomp in the alabaster ice lands and i was wondering if that would be better than this. (the typhlosion is lv 75)
tysm
i got the rare cave spawn first time i went in the cave
If you almost beat the game just go to the Training Grounds. You will know what I mean and just keep doing it. But I have a question. In this game does it matter how you level up? I remember in Classic Gameboy Color games the best way to train your Pokemon was by leveling up in Battles. If you just use rare candy or just catch a HighLevel Pokemon he wouldn't be as strong as if you train him. But Im not sure here. It seems even the Stats or Efforts can be increased at any level.
It's funny my pomemon wasn't even level 30 it was my first time going to the cave and I caught a level 42 machoke despite me not being able to get up there lol
For some reason I got happiny on my first try lol
my lv 18 ghastly solo'd blissey with poison gas and venoshock stall
honestly, all alphas drop candies and great exp. not just chansey
Yeah but chansey gives alot of exp
Chaney gives you a ridiculous amount of exp. You can sell the extra exp candies from the other alphas especially the small ones
Me who caught all the alphas in the first region with regularl pokeballs aside from the 3 that need basqulegon before leaving the region.
Him Blissey is going to be very hard to catch
Me Huh?
Bro just throw a razz Berry some cake and a couple of pokeballs and if you want an easy catch just stun lock it with feather, wing or jet balls.
For beginners in Obsidian Fieldlands without making progress. We have guides on the channel for EASY 100% catching alphas as well. Your strat is solid! Good stuff!
There’s another Blissey at the location of the Chancey outbreak when they aren’t there. When you beat the Noble Pokémon you unlock a fast travel location on top of the mountain north of the Blissey he showed earlier in the video and this location is further south.
These two Blisseys have some great advantages. The first being how fast you can get to them. The noble arena fast travel point is directly above the first Blissey and the Chansey outbreak location Blissey is just further south and is low enough that you can use Braviary to glide there even with the altitude drop from boosting. You can warp to the arena and fly to the Blisseys and fight them just as fast If not faster than just getting to the Alpha Blissey. When you return to camp just rest til morning instead of heading to Jubilife and back. The candies from the Alpha can only be used on one of your mons so unless you’re lv80/90 then Alpha Blissey probably isn’t worth it late game. (The higher your level compared to your opponent the less exp you get. Candies give consistent experience regardless of your level.)
Secondly, they are super easy to beat. If you land directly next to them they will try to run away, giving you a free back shot to start the battle. Not only will you start with them stunned, letting you get in more hits before you can consistently one shot them, they won’t have the higher stats or two moves from being an alpha either. (I stopped to fight the Alpha Blissey when I was back in the first area filling out the dex and couldn’t one shot it even though I could consistently one shot the Iceland Blisseys.)
When you’re a high enough level you can also incorporate Garchomp and Frosslass into your rotations when they show up every once in a while. Bait them into the dash attack or icy wind so they stay pointed in one direction and back strike them (other Pokémon can’t join the battle when you do this) and when you’re ready for candies the bandit sisters drop 4 nuggets in the post game so you can hunt them to buy better candies in town. BLAINES has a guide for hunting them down if you need it.
Dude wrote all that just to be wrong. SMH
@Dare How so? This is the method I've been using and there hasn't noticed anything wrong yet? Unless alphas give bonus exp then the method I mentioned with 2 Blisseys with shorter travel and load times should be at least equal before the reduced experience from being higher leveled. Even if you want to hunt the alpha Blissey instead it will agro to you so hunting the Iceland's Blisseys to defeat it easier would give it merit.
So I'll ask you what part is wrong and why? What can I do to fix it? Much of what I've said are facts so even if I'm wrong unless you can tell me why I'll assume that you are including fast travel point above the Iceland Blisseys shown in the video and that you haven't gotten past Kleavor yet to discover them and that you dont know what you're talking about either.
I'll admit this is a late game farm and not mentioning that properly on an early farm video was wrong though.
my mans wrote a fuckin essay to say get good
i fight the lvl 85 alpha garchomp in icelands XS
I just oneshot rosarade alpha; it’s quick, easy, and you can do the entire run in like 1-3 minutes
It gives okay exp, but blissey gives a lot
@@thegunguy0 Gun Man ohhhh Fighter of the Knife Man ohhhh champion of the Glock, and freedom for everyone!…..sry I had to or it was going to physically hurt me and I will drop kick a Blissey to see the difference thank you
Be civil and respectful is an ironic guidelines when your bearing up blesses who just wanna heal you
I'm gonna use blissy as a tank so I can heal my pokemon against volo
if your looking for xp very early game. i would just keep battling beautifly north of the first map.
I’m star rank 6, I have many “perfect” dex entries and my main team level is in the 50s and I’ve already caught the Level 60 Alakazam pretty much right as open world starts lmao
I also have a shiny beautifly and a shiny staraptor.
@@1stbestpokemaster NOBODY GIVES A FUCK!
I caught an alpha happiny from the tunnel, and I just so happened to have an oval stone
If you go home to the village and head back to her she'll be there every time.
He fuckin knows
just figth train guy
Can’t you just catch a bunch of Pokémon to get money!
the alpha blissey respawns even if you catch it right?
duh, just go in and out the map.
