I love how Akuma’s intro mirrors Ryu’s. How the avatar enters on them during training, while Ryu’s is calm and peaceful with him doing Katas underneath cherry blossom, instead you hear Akuma using an entire statue as a makiwara lol.
@@lightningjadejavier it’s a punching bag before punching bags from the west were first imported into Japan, as the name suggests it’s a roll of dried straws bunched as rope you punch but a lot of them take different shapes. The most basic one is a standing makiwara, a vertical plank of flexible wood stood up with rope as padding for your fists, there are also some made from bunched up bamboo and straw you smack with your forearms and hands until they’re iron. People like to praise Muay thai for their brutal conditioning but Okinawan Karate is no joke either, heck they just punch the concrete walls of their dojos or just grab a nicely shaped rock to punch to break their fingers slowly. My favorite is the jar of sand you have to hold up with your finger tips only so you can grab someone’s throat with a grasp of steel.

And laugh. God, i really love what they did with Akuma.
Akuma has reached a point in his life where casually uppercutting someone and having them land on their head causes them to laugh and smile. That or your OC finally got the answer to their long running question of “What is strength?” and are as happy as much as they are in pain.
I know that Akuma is already aged but why does he look more neutral and reserved here compared to other times in Street Fighter he was evil / demon incarnate?
@@demochris1786 He got a bit older, a bit wiser, and a bit calmer. I wouldn't say he was ever "evil incarnate" either, really, not like Bison. Ruthless and sociopathic, yes, completely without morals, no. Dude's always had a sense of honor. Kind of a screwy one, but still.
After getting good with his style i returned back to emma's hollow to gain the skills but i have no more tickets left, i am now stuck there with the murderous demon 💀
The fact that "Johnny" (our Character) received a Metsu Shoryuken and Survived speaks volumes of how strong the guy really is. Even Old man Akuma saw his potential and Trained him. "Johnny" seems to have held back against who's the guy we're with? Bosch? When they battled.
I hope this isn't 'post game' content, because I think it would be amusing to take on JP in World Tour mode by whipping out the Satsui no Hado against him!
To be honest, when Akuma and Negan came into Tekken 7, I kind of expected Negan to either laugh or humor. Akuma, after either losing or winning, no matter the adversity or foe, he's always keeping that wit of his sharp, at least that was and still is my headcanon.
to be fair he never murder anyone unless he consider them on his level only exception being Bison since Akuma doesn't like him that is why his actual murder count is like 2-3 officially shown
His last words sound ominous at first glance... but I believe Akuma genuinely wants you to be able to smile at the end of the day. That man is more sentimental than he wants to give the impression of.
