âShe doesnât know I know thisâ
*gets black ski mask*
She still says âUgh fine! Who taught you this?â
@@chchchchiaaaa339 Yeah and those were her last words đ
?
Me embarrassing myself in the line
The fine print also includes the condition clause, âAt participating stores.â
As soon as I found out about free refills I made a deal with my partner! Iâll get a drink, quickly drink it then have them refill it for my partner, thus both of
us get drinks and only pay for oneđđœ
did it work?
I do this almost everyday....I only drink coffee and she likes those fancy coffee drinks. Not expedite the process so you can both drink together you can ask for a cup, pour her drink into said cup and walk back up for a free refill of tea or coffee....the label from her drink let's them know you purchased a drink earlier making it hard to dispute.
You have to use your Starbucks card and be a gold member for free refills.
â@@johngatsby1473The trick is still getting you to go in and spend on Starbycks almost every day.
Everyone : learns how to get a free refill at starbucks
Me : watches how she keeps talking with the smile on :)
Cause her smile is something else, I always re-watch the clip just to see her smile again lol
I am focusing on her boobs tho.
POV: You're a guy trying to hit on an NPC in the youtube comment section
Haha. Same. I was wondering if she was a cheerleader or in dance
As a former Sbux employee,
She forgot to mention the policy states
âSame Store, Same Visitâ
You canât just grab free refills all day long. Once you leave the store your refill is Void.
It says it on the writing behind her
I know, she should mention that though so people donât just assume they can just show up and do this. Most people are not going to read the quick clip of the policy.
Watch what you say because Erica might show up at your door with some fine print just to prove youâre wrong đ
great to spend all day at that store. can i get refill all day long every day? as long as i do not exit the store?
@@craciunlabs yes
âAt participating storesâ not all of them have to comply
Exactly! All they have to say is âWe donât participateâ
Especially franchises and unprofessional employees
How can I find out which store participate in the policy
@@hazeltate6614 itâs not even unprofessional, itâs a nuisance, especially during times of higher volume
this is true and it's definitely not a secret. for corporate locations the refill deal applies if the costumer scans the same starbucks card they used during the original purchase and they have remained at the starbucks location. once you leave, your visit has ended and the offer does not apply (hence the offer does not extend to drive-thru costumers). as for licensed locations i've heard it can differ as they have different policies, in that case it's best just to inquire with your barista :)
An actual conversation: Erika I would like a free refill
SE: No
E:But the terms say that
SE: I have no idea about the terms I am not giving you anything for free
E:I am gonna sue you if you don't
SE: Great I am not gonna pay for it so go ahead Idc
... and then you actually take them to court for breach of contract.
... or maybe you can't, but she can, because she's a lawyer -and reads the fine print so you don't have to.-
@@HighAdmiral oh? Any examples of this happening you can point to?
â@@dustincaso6781 ... any examples of lawsuits I can point to? Do I look like a court clerk to you? How the hell would I know every single ongoing lawsuit?
@@HighAdmiral because youâre acting like this happens all the time with no evidence
â@@dustincaso6781 I made no statement about what "happens all the time". I simply told you what *you* could do if that happened to *you.* Read better.
You're awesome Erika. Thanks for showing the importance of reading the fine print. Now this is real entertainment.
Erikaâs Law school is gonna be paid for with all her fine print reading hacks and discounts.
âReads the fine print for usâ but doesnât mention its at PARTICIPATING STORES. Or that itâs only if youâre sitting and staying inside of said store.
**within the same store visit, you canât use this through the drive through or at another store location
Thereâs also the â$.50 extra shotâ trick. Thereâs a button on the register for an extra shot (itâs $.50). Ask for just the extra shot and they have to give it to you in a small cup. After you get it fill the rest with milk and you have a latte.
Where is Dustin? I need his rebuttal on this. đ€Ł
and this is why food service workers should be able to cuss out one customer per shift consequence free
BecauseâŠ.you shouldnât ask a barista to fill one cup of coffee? Thatâs literally their job
@@catherinethorstenberg8957 itâs an unnecessary refill
@emerald_1160 even if itâs apparently unnecessary, the terms and conditions still apply.
â@@emerald_1160hey, if a customer wants a refill, it's not up to you to decide if its unnecessary
So explain to me, how this is the customers fault that Starbucks wrote that in their guidelines?
Why donât you take your beef up w Starbucks for putting that in writing?
at mine it's only honored with the original ticket, meaning only the previous drink can be remade, it seems kinda like a stretch to suggest all Starbucks both corporate and licensed will honor these terms as you described them. If you can order a short hot coffee with nothing in it, then try get a trenta blank tea lemonade as the refill when it's literally twice the cost take it small claims court lmao
Terms and Conditions. They agreed to them when they become franchises.
Yes you do get a free refill or coffee but you must stay in the store. We aren't going to give it to you 'if you just come in with a random cup
Nope, used my Starbucks card and was refused a refill
*at participating stores
Dude there's no way the worker would know this lol
It only works for the basic coffees and tea. Dont expect to get a latte or Macchiato
Poor retail workers just like stop with this
It has to be the same store and same visit. Like if your hanging out in the lobby area doing work and want a refill. You canât go through the drive thru and get a refill
will not work expect to get beat up by minimum wage employees who dont give a sht about their job
Might be true, but this would be pathetic to be in line to fight your way to a coffee refill when tea was bought
I think you forgot the IN STORE part
Man I want to motorboat those
At participating stores only. She should emphasize this.
It says at participating stores. So how do you know which stores participate?
Got any Dunkin Donuts tips? Can't afford Starbucks...
Says it right there only if it's a participating store.
Yes definitely needed that one thanks for reading the fine printâ€â€â€
You also get rewards on the Starbucks app đ
Ive enjoyed that before but thought it was a âspecial perkâ I unlocked as a âGold Memberâ. Now I better understand some of the riff raff parked in some NY Starbucksđ
FOR EVERONE IN THE COMMENTS: This should be common knowledge, I work at Starbucks, we will give u a refill if u pay with cash too...
Ok now we get to drink Starbuck coffee and Starbucks tea
Reading the fine print and boiler plates matter!
Love her mean person voice. Lol
That smile đ
Lol love you Erica, but if everyone did this it'd be a real nuisance to the baristas

Starbucks raises their base price, thx for nothing
Starbucks has updated their terms....check first...thanks Erika!!!!
Who would buy Starbucks anymore?
so you bother a 17 year old kid at Starbucks
Wait what? That's pretty well hidden if true. So hidden that people think Starbucks cards arent worth it when they apparently really really are.
Itâs not well hidden everyone knows as itâs advertised but then again people donât pay attention to details also just because this is a thing that doesnât mean all stores will comply as not all stores participate especially not a reserve or a licensed store
Damm why dose star bucks not have any coffee beans anymore?
Putting the"fine" in fine print
Oh my gosh Erika thanks so mUCH!!!
You know most of the stuff that you do has absolutely nothing to do with me but I just love your energy and your smile!! Makes me wish I was about 40 years 50 years younger...... And by the way I do sincerely appreciate the information you share to I'm sure it helps a lot of people and I really appreciate that personally! đ
Erika is super dope yo !!!
How do you know if it's a "participating store". I literally had no idea about this.
I think Erica wants to get us handcuffed this time.
Does this really work? What happens if they say no?
If they say no, you politely leave
That's not how that works in the slightest.
When you dine- in. Within 2 hours.
Unlimited PTO, unlimited coffee
Erica is amazing đ. I learn a lot from her. Can you please make videos on marriage related legal aspects. Rights and obligations, exceptional grounds for divorce etc
Iâm gonna try this!
Thanks Erika
there isnt a Starbucks where i live, there might be one in my country but ive never been to one
Erika NEVER EVER ANGER ANYONE WHO MAKES YOUR FOOD OR DRINK. yes this is true but you didn't have to be witchy about it. My advice is way more valuable than yours .
I love her double personalities đ€Ł
Karens ASSEMBLE.
If it's in their terms, don't feel guilty upholding them.
Do*, stop harassing retail workers
Not in South Africa.
Must have 750 points to get free refills and to accumulate these points you spend crazy money there.
Ok I'm gonna try this tomorrow!!
Please update me if it worked! Thanks in advance :)
Did it work?! Lol
wooooooow trying it tomorrow!!:)
Please leave those poor baristas alone girl đ
or they can do their job
This is wrong. You can get a refill during the same visit. It is free if you pay with your registered Starbucks card. You cannot leave the cafe and come back asking for a free refill. K thx!
âActually I read your terms of service!â
Maâam I really donât give a damn, get out. Iâm not paid enough for this
You complain about the employer but you're literally helping them make more money đ€
@@katherinem1924 It's a joke... Holy
then quit if ur not gonna do ur job
@@hqund7816 I mean, itâs low key true though. Fast food workers donât normally care for the technicalities, as long as they get paid theyâre happy
@@rzbin thereâs a difference between doing your job and being lectured by some snob about the âterms of serviceâ of a multi billion dollar company that pays them basically nothing and expects them to show up every day.
I'm gonna do this today đđ
I love it. Hope they don't change it after seeing this. Waking up a lot of sleeping dogs.
Despite the criticism, I enjoy your videos. Thanks
Wow these poor Starbucks workers
Ask nicely
Ensure to document their refusals
Does this apply to the uk too?
that's why I follow her
Well but if the cashier doesnt care about the terms or if the cashier dont know what terms you talking about.remember he is a cashier not a manager
*Dustin Sternmeyer wants to know your location*
I follow her for different reasons
All of the customers and employees in Erika's videos all look alike. And they always ask "Who taught you this".
Take that Howard
XXX take this down Erika lol... you know this goes to end price of everyones coffee.
Does this apply to special order coffee (like with syrups and milks) or just black coffee/tea?
I honestly knew this
I knew this but wasn't it only for gold card members (which wasn't difficult to achieve)?
I stopped bc I just didn't want all the sugar.
u dont gotta order sugary drinks there, i mean the regular latte, americano, espresso, cold brew etc dont got any sugar or there are sugarfree options đ
Whatâs your practice area?
I donât want to get into this kinda of conversation with Starbucks, their employees already have bad attitude đ
Also, does anyone know why Starbucks employees always seem so angry?
Gee, I wonder why...
In Japan that is not common I'd say đ
Wait does this work when I buy a pumpkin latte and ask to get a free coffee?
Girl: Actually *I* read Starbucks term...
Girl: Erika did! She's a lawyer who read the fine prints so *I* don't have to...
So, did you read the fine prints or did Erika did that for you? đ€Ș
Girl = Erika!
It used to be limited to during the same visit, but I havenât sit inside to work at Starbucks since before the pandemic. Does anyone know if that changed?
Iâm pretty sure if you get a coffee you can get free refills of that ( hot coffee ) all day
Oooo expect i don't go to Starbucks
So now that the world knows, should we count the days til they remove this revenue losing proposition??
Refill of air thx
Is this the same in Britain?
Is the Starbucks "card" a gift card you protected at Starbucks?
Can anyone tell me if this works?
Cold brew too?
