- Welcome back! Oh, it's always so nice to make and upload videos on here. Anyway, I really hope you enjoy this video. In this video, I share with you my most recent ethnic reborn baby doll. I had to take a break between the years late 2019 and early 2023 due to very unfortunate events that took a toll in me and disrupted my daily life. However, all of that is in the back burner and I am finally back to creating more dolls and finishing some custom dolls that I had to put on pause.
Please note that I am using my phone camera, so certain painting details are not visible as they would be in a professional HD photos - that's why I like to pop in professional photos of the baby so you can see what she looks like in real life. All of my photos are taken in natural day light - artificial lighting is not involved.
This video is about hair cutting and hair styling a reborn doll head. For this baby, I used 'Slumberland Nursery' kid mohair in the color black and wavy/curly. When I style the hair, I do not use any kind of hair product. I always like to stick to natural water so I do not damage the paint or the vinyl. I also never submerge my dolls' hair under water because water can get in the vinyl head through the rooting holes or the eyes and it can cause molding inside of the doll.

She’s so cute, love her skin tone, What colors did you use for her skin tone?
Thank you so much for your words, Doris. For the skin tone, I use a mix of colors. I tend to play things by ear. So, I dont have an exact formula. But, I do know that I used Flesh 02, Burnt Umber, Black, and Crimson. I might have added other colors, but it was in a minimum amount
