Filmed on the River Mersey and West Kirby on the Wirral, England.
A single pilot doing the controls and the camera. You may think that the clips are too long but that is intentional, Anyone can make a good video using short clips. This way it really shows what a single person with an inspire1 can do.

fair plays, that was pretty epic! the part across the mersey - epic! the sped up bit down low over the sand banks - epic!
Fantastic, I love the way you focussed on the famous Mersey Ferry and that bit across the sand was nicely done too.
I haven't seen any good inspire vids untill now. You pushed it further and flexed it's capabilities compared to most.
Very stable, long, straight and smooth strifes. Pans came out great too. Can't do that with the Zenmuse 3D. It dampens, catches up, then dampens again. Hate that. Oh, BTW nice edit and music too.
That's why I watch.

This is brilliant! Makes me wish I had one so bad. You captured great footage, plus good editing and a great touch with the music.

Superb mate! I'm just down the road in Skelmersdale and plan on getting some good footage in similar places with the Phantom 2 + H4-3D and Hero 4 Black. Getting it in May all being well and will practise a lot over land until I know I'm not going to do anything stupid and know my drone isn't either!

Nice job.. some say piloting the inspire is difficult for one person but this video shows that it can be done with nice smooth movements. So well done.. though im curious about how well one can perform with tracking fast moving subjects.

nice one mate, great footage! can you share your camera settings please? I've been using "LOG" and "Custom" with saturation and contrast set to -2 to try and create a ProTune style flat image...its not bad, but could be better i feel so would be interested to hear what you use

Great Video! Love to have the DJI Inspire... I didn't crashed my Phantom 2 yet :) How does the Inspire 1 compares with Phantom2 with H3-3D & Gopro in terms of jellow? Your shots are at the end of day where there is less light & less jellow... How the camera compares with GoPro? In youtube we can't see the quality of these cameras because of the compression. Thanks

I got a phantom 2, but now I desperately want this!
Can the camera exposure be locked off so that into the sun shots do not go dark? I would rather let the sun burn out and keep foreground detail. Looking good though on well exposed shots.

Flying over water is just easy if you really trust your aircraft :)

How far can your flight de inspire 1 without breakup screen
don't mean to be negative and it is not a criticism of your flying skills....but why did you not lock exposure? Also the horizon drifts quite a bit. I would love a short clip of this uploaded somewhere in original quality direct from the camera so we can download it and grade it?

Amazing footage .. but you are very brave. No way in a million years would I have faith in the DJI stuff for flying over water even with everything setup by a reseller it is still flakey. Would love the Inspire but would rather limit my losses. Recently purchased a Yuneec Q500 and did not expect very much... how wrong I was, exceptional especially when you consider the price.
Very nice like I say if you can afford to lose that in the depths of the water that's fine but think I'd cry if mine hit the drink !
Omg Richard, the quality of that thing is quite rediculous! Balls of steel to fly £2800 worth of kit out that far too!

Hell HPIGUY, How many years have you had your DJI Inspire 1 for, it's a nice big SHIP and I Gonna get one of EBAY on 14th , probably for a few hundred Quid :-) U see I want big dependable drone for General usage, I mean the truth is it is the best drone in the world in every respect RIGHT ? One motor has failed on my ZZL Sg906, I am sending it back for a REFUND, so when I get paid again, I will either buy SG906 again, a hubsan Zino 2+ , All NEW or a good quality DJI INSPIRE of EBAY :-)😄What I mean is any drone can fail so if a motor failed on my DJI INSPIRE, is it easy to gain ACCESS to put a REPLACEMENT in it? just use a screwdriver ?Thanx , Rob
