Agreed, this is why I use CZcams premium now to avoid all ads. It definitely helped me a lot I use to buy actual or digital junks which I didn’t even need in first place.

6:11 I actually (kinda) fell for the trap and downloaded Top War. I played the game for maybe a few weeks and never spent a penny. After a certain point, the game made itself unplayable because of the amount of time you had to wait for you stuff to upgrade that the only options were to uninstall, or to spend your paycheck on the game.

During covid I got hooked on the Grand Mafia, mostly because of the raunchy females on the game which is something I'm not proud of, but I got hooked and spent 3k on the game trying to level up my account and get skins. The only way I could justify this was that I spent my stimulus money on it and then the game got repetitive and boring and I lost my day streak so I stopped playing.

I used to be a top player in Stellaris galaxy command and there was a whale who spent easily $20k to race ahead and be bigger than any of us who had played for over a year. So yes, some people do it and it's stupid because it ruined the game for the rest of us. (I spent a total of $27 in 2.5 years of playing before quitting cold turkey).

I have to say over the years I’ve consumed TONS of mobile games and spent hundreds of dollars on certain mobile games such as Brawl Stars and Clash Royale which are free to play games but paying with real money significantly increases the progression of your account.
In the end mobile games are very addictive and fun but it’s also very easy to spend tons of money so be careful and spend wisely 🤓😂💯

they get away with it because theyre not selling you the game , its free to play so it doesnt count it as false advertisement. youre not being defrauded of money from the ad. when you spend money in the game youre not buying anything advertised.

There was only one mobile game that I truly enjoyed - you'll see it in my videos, an anime game, and I haven't played it on my phone. It was played via an application on my pc. The only problem is that it's very time consuming, and in-game competitions with your online crew was like early hours in the morning by my side. Plus, had to use online translation just to communicate with other players in the crew, because the vast majority couldn't speak english.
I enjoyed that game, and there is no other game out there that was as mentally stimulating - unfortunately, I had to stop.
Also; did pretty well in top global rankings without throwing any amount of cash.
It just became super toxic with the whales that overpower the game, and it's extremely time consuming.

I fell for it and downloaded evony. 2 seconds in and I was like wtf is this and deleted it. I play Warhammer Tacticus and I spend a little money on it but nothing crazy. I’m a big Warhammer fan and I find value in it. But I could also stop whenever I want. I’m not sinking hundreds and hundreds of dollars into this thing. But it’s a huge problem for some people and you have to be really careful with kids. They latch on to these ads way more than the adults.
the crazy part is that they would prolly make MORE MONEY if they gave us the game they advertised...

Oh yeah people spend a ton on these mobile games. I am guilty of doing so as well as I used to play the game called Game of War. It was extremely pay to win as to even stand a chance against other players you had to spend. Unfortunately when I played it I was also young, stupid, and not very good with my money. I probably spent at least 10k in that game before coming to my senses and quit playing it for good. These ads for these mobile games are absolutely horrible and they have been this way for years now. Sadly the mobile market is flooded with these games that offer all these micro-transactions. There is only two mobile games that I wouldn't mind playing again if they came back and without the micro-transactions and those two are Blood Brothers and Rage of Bahamut.
