I think at 13:55 Daniel is obviously turning his head. Should have been carded for that.
Actually, he turned his head but his back wasn't turned all the way, so I don't think there was anything wrong with what he did. (I may be wrong.) I don't think technically there is anything wrong with having the back of your head exposed.
The system of rules in fencing is archaic and retarded.
I hate how Massialas is always complaining about technical infractions like in 14:26. The slight movement in the opponent's helmet to the right didn't make a difference to the point. The movement wasn't also enough to warrant a yellow card. Do you want to win like this?
The reason he missed is because Zhang keeps ducking which is legal displacement. It's impossible to hit the front of Zhang's lame, which is why people have so much trouble with him. You need to go for his back.
