#25 Alexander Massialas

From a young age the biggest motivation for Alex Masialas is his father Greg Masialas. His dad competed in two Olympic games and starting 2012 Greg has been the national coach of the United States senior foil team. At the age of 22 Alex won a silver Olympic medal in individual event and third place in teams, beating Italy in a match for a bronze. During his quarterfinal bout at the 2016 Olympics, Alex was trailing Italian Giorgio Avola 14-8, however managed to fight back and won the bout with 14-15. His world class fencing and confidence allowed Massialas to show consistent high results.
