Experience China’s Futuristic Sky Garden Shanghai’s Amazing Building 1000 Trees

- This unbelievable Chinese Sky Garden is Close to Shanghai Railway Station in the Shanghai art district. Towering above the art district is an architectural masterpiece the 1000 trees building. Inside is the Tian'an Qianshu shopping Mall. In the Metropolis of Shanghai This is one of the worlds most beautiful architectural designs, designed by British Architect Thomas Heatherwick.
The Sky garden has hundreds of steps and more than 1000 trees. The design was inspired by the Yellow Mountains and Hanging Gardens of Babylon. A diverse and complex design blending nature and lots of visual diversity can help improve peoples mental health in an urban environment where people are surrounded by walls and concrete.

Such a masterpiece by Heatherwick! I like his work and style unique and very customized. I think he should have more projects all over China.
It is I would love to see him design more buildings in China, but there’s still a way to go for this project to be completed 🙂 I don’t know much about architecture but I’ve read some of his writing and interviews and I’m about to watch his Ted talk. I really like his approach.

Wow, such a modern futuristic building. That why I find modern China a paradox. It’s an ancient 5000 year old culture but it looks towards the future, the nation does not live in the past. Hence , the modern architecture. The rise of China as world economic, cultural and political power is one in which western leaders ( in particular the USA) should not fear, but should embrace.
Thanks Roger 👍 I agree it is a paradox and it is also exciting to watch. I think embracing it and learning from / working with China would be a much better option. The world is full of division, imagine what’s possible if we all work together in a positive way.
Watching it, I see Christmas festive air is alive and well. Some China haters have been posting slanderous videos in recent weeks claiming Christmas is banned in China.
It doesn't seem to be banned as far as I can see.
"Christmas banned in China " nearly every year, and "China collapse" every year for about 30 years, and now China collapse 2.0 is at its hight. Amazing is that there are still millions of people believe it.

It is ❤️ they got the mood / atmosphere just right with this lighting. Only difficulty is the camera can’t pick it up very well because it’s not very bright 😂 I’ll take my drone up close in the future and get some good shots of the lights at night. Thanks for watching 👍

Is the 1000 trees complex for commercial or residential use ?
The first phase which is completed is mixed use and has a shopping mall inside and I think the second phase which is under construction will have offices and a hotel as far as I'm aware.
