the song and performance are amazing. jury is a trash. definitely deserved a higher place.
That year was such a scam. People voted Russia first place, then jury purpusefully inflated Ukraine and Australia points above 500+ so it was basically impossible
I watched his jury stage and he made some pitch mistakes there. I guess he had bad condition that particular day.

Najpiękniejsze jest to, że Michał tym wykonaniem zjednał na chwilę społeczeństwo. Wielu ludzi uważało go za dziwaka a tym występem Michal udowodnił jakim znakomitym jest artystą. Poza tym jest sobą, kolorową postacią. Do tej pory mam ciary.
Od tamtej pory posypałam głowę popiołem i słucham jego muzyki :) jest fantastyczny :)
Teraz jak jesteś dziwakiem to masz większą szansę wygrać Eurowizję, wiadomo poprawność polityczna żeby nie było. Ale trzeba przyznać ładnie śpiewa.

I believe, only people should decide the fate of the winner. It can't be true that 5 people from each country have to power to decide who will win and who will not. After their points, it's difficult to achieve the victory (Poland and Russia this year, Italy last year). I can't believe that millions people among the world are blind. The fact that he sang solo with perfect vocal control, and without any backing vocal and no musical effect was very impressive and artistic, and very difficult to do. And another fact was he expressed the messages of the lyrics verbally and non verbally very well. I wonder why did the juries not appreciate those facts?
I think it's because first they were deaf- he has the most beautiful voice, I agree with what you wrote.

+marcin19 Gdy Górniak występowała oceniali tylko jurorzy, nie było głosownia widzów. Było sporo mniej uczestniczących w konkursie krajów, a Polska wtedy debiutowała na Eurowizji. Te okoliczności dały Górniak 2 miejsce. W obecnych czasach byłaby gdzieś w ogonie.

Nie Ty jeden ... straszny żal. Michaś rozwalił scenę talentem, scenizmem i artyzmem, mową ciała - Książe z Polski , tylko niestety szlachta jakaś nie teges ... Ale wróci. - I introduced this song to my best friend who doesn’t follow Eurovision at all. I then asked him what place he thought he finished.
“Did he win?”
I said “Yes, he won my heart. Are you ready to know what happened in the end?”
He replied “Go on”
“This song was badly robbed by the juries, giving him the last place with 7 points.”
(he was really sad and shocked)
“But the televote has given him 222 points, the 3rd place, doing the biggest comeback ever made in Eurovision to date. He finished 8th overall.”
(He was crying so badly)
“This is our friendship song, it represents everything I feel towards you. Thank you for showing me this lovely song.”

+Pantsu51 Politically Poland isn't popular. We don't have neighbours who would traditionally vote for us. The huge support of televoting stems probably from the fact that there are so many Polish people living all across Europe. Michał is a great singer, but the performance wasn't impressive visually. Those are my theories :-) Glad you like it.

Ależ mnie denerwuje to ciągłe powtarzanie, że Polska znalazła się na trzecim miejscu w głosowaniu telewidzów tylko dzięki Polonii. Wiadomo, że Polacy za granicą pomogli, ale w życiu nie uzbierałoby się z tego ponad dwieście punktów. Poza tym dostaliśmy punkty od prawie wszystkich państw, również od tych w których nie ma Polonii. To, że obcokrajowcy powtarzają argument o głosach polskich imigrantów jak katarynki to jedno, ale żeby sami Polacy tak ujmowali Michałowi?
Zgadzam się z Tobą. Idąc tym tropem awans powinniśmy mieć zapewniony zawsze i miejsce w TOP 3, a wiemy, że tak nie jest. Ale cały ten cyrk podkręcają jeszcze takie persony jak Michał Wiśniewski. I jeszcze jedno, czy na widowni w Amsterdamie, czy Sztokcholmie była sama Polonia i śpiewała? Brednie.

Dokładnie, wkurwia mnie to jak niektórzy wykonawcy próbują dodać sobie w ocenie przez jakieś efekty specjalne, no Rosja to na tej eurowizji ewidentnie próbowała wziąść ludzi i jurorów na te efekty, moim zdaniem to powinno być zabronione, sama muzyka i śpiew. Dalej nie mogę przeboleć jak "profesjonalne" a raczej polityczne jury potraktowało Michała! Ale z tego co Michał mówił w pytanie na śniadanie to już dostał oferty od Chin i USA więc dzięki Bogu ci prawdziwi profesjonalni ludzie go zauważyli i mam nadzieję że zrobią to co trzeba z Michałem żeby cały świat poznał jego talent :)!
