I think ESC wanted to gave Ukraine win to piss Russia off. It also don't want Non European country ie Australia to win.
But to create "three win situations", don't let Australia and Russia disappointed
The data was rigged such that Australia and Russia could win in jury and televote respectively, but cannot win finally. Then ESC in this year seems to have three "WINNER".

If you are smart enough you can see that Sweden, Germany, Ukraine and Russia (economically strong countries) win or take high places all the time this period. For example, Greece never wins (we have serious debt trouble). We send medicore songs but if you see the annual winners, it's obvious that we definately have a chance. I have to admit that this year, we sent the worst song that we have ever sent.

The only explanation that I can give for this is that the public are mostly people who are joining late and only listen to the replays, and they give 12 points to the people who scream because they think it's impressive. And Australia were performing in the middle of the running order, compared to Ukraine who were near the bottom, and the most points go to the countries who are near the bottom of the running order. From 2:12 there is a big shot of her head. While we cannot see the stage 4 guys come running from stage right entrance (that stage is creepy, you can roll everything up from below in no time). In the next shot from the dropcam at 2:16 we can see 2 people in black clothing lifting her down the box and then running away towards the front edges of the stage (only visible by a light shining on them and when the floor lights up). The other 2 are getting ready behind the box.
In the next steadicam/flycam/crane (no idea what exactly they used here) shot at 2:21 the camera goes around Dami and while we are looking towards the audience, the big box is being rolled away by the other two stage hands and woop-di-doo, at 2:38 the big shiny box is already gone and nowhere to be seen.
The choreography needed for these effects and the planning of the camera work is really quite astonishing, and it's not computer trickery, it's good old coordination work.
