Your gonna find yourself in the woodworking Hall of Fame as both a Creator and Concept Design Master someday. Its been a pleasure to watch your creative design work over the last several years
Thanks, yes, I think I will use it as a micro adjuster a lot more than a miter slot calibration tool. That actually did cause some debate about what to call it.
Thanks a ton. I just ordered the vertical feather board. I've wanted to buy the JESS'EM Table saw guides for quite a while now, but didn't want to pay the $200+ price tag. This will go nicely with my Mag Switch feather board that I've been using for about 6 years now. I may have to see about writing an article on Tools In Action in the near future.
I just ordered the vertical feather board. I was going to make something similar without the mag... The mag switch will make my life a lot easier. Awesome work as always Andrew.
These are brilliant. They should do a a version for Vehicle technician's. I've used quite a few dti guages for things like brake disc run out and the means of securing the guage to the hub never works well enough!
Hi Andy, Saw the video, and ordered a pair of the featherboards. Came much earlier than anticipated (not a bad thing), look even better than they did on the computer (a good thing), and are STRONG (a great thing). Was pulling the tablesaw around the shop floor with one of them on the tablesaw bed. Oh, no wheels on the saw, just some 2x2 HDPE anti-skid blocks. I'm very impressed. Thanks for your efforts and keep at it! R
I picked up one of those Universal Pro's from Timbecon here in Melbourne based on their review by Chris Zurek. It's brilliant and lives stuck to the steel frame of my shed just above the table saw.
You, Andrew, are a freakin' genius! Are you working on patents these things? I really enjoy the way your mind thinks. And you your videos are very slick and informative without all the dead space most of us (unfortunately) are accustomed to on amateur CZcams videos. Keep up the great inventive work. It's why America rules the world on invention and always will.
@@AndrewKleinWW Andrew, I work at Carbatec where we sell Magswitch products. It would be good to see you here, I work in our showroom and look forward to being able to sell these new tools. Rendel
Andrew, what’s the functional difference between the Magswitch 8110328 Pro Table Woodworking Featherboard and the Magswitch Universal Featherboard Pro, Universal Model 81101303? I’m trying to decide which product is best for my use case which is providing additional horizontal holding pressure on my table saw for rip cuts. I’m leaning towards the 81101303 with the bump stops.
I have to say your work and ideas are truly impressive. So many channels on woodworking are semi-skilled people with thousands in machinery and tooling making things and thinking they are "Masters" at what they do....Their just one step away from being Ikea.....lol...
Hello, This video was the first place I saw that mentioned "thin stock" when regarding the Vertical Featherboard. I was very excited when I first saw it advertised. I purchased one for when I was breaking down full sheets of 3/4" plywood. It popped off the fence during the cut pretty easily. Apparently I missed; or the advertising does not mention, for "thin stock". I really like magswitch items. I use one on almost every table saw cut. The Vertical Featherboard was disappointing. I want to purchase the newly introduced fence for the drill press, but am very concerned to spend the money if it isn't strong enough for the task.
The vertical Featherboard is not made to exclusively work with think stock, it should be just fine to apply downward force on 3/4” stock. Can you send me you email so we can look into this further?
@@AndrewKleinWW Yup I had the same problem. After putting in payment information and address, when you continue to the shipping page it says "The ANDREWKLEIN discount code has already been used" Apparently one use per address. Shame you didn't announce these at the same time as your band saw kit.
Lolwut at the woodworking and precision. If you just run the piece twice I bet you would have got the same result without adjustment... But they are useful products, just everyone's got a mag base dial indicator already.

Yes, if you are reading this you can skip the first 18 seconds of the video. But while you are here I can expand further and say that I was a part of the design team. So maybe more accurate to say I conceptualized the tools and contributed to their design. But I didn’t even want to be that overly precise in the video!

I especially like the vertical feather board for use on the table saw fence. I just ordered mine. Keep up the great work with those designs!!!
Brilliant designs Andrew. You've done it once more!
It's a joy to see you contributing your designer chops to more and more tools.
Thanks for the inspiration and keep on trucking (from France)!
You bet, thanks for the support
ordered mine today. Thanks for the innovations!
I would love to see a video on your process of inventing and patenting!
I’m not a woodworker, but can appreciate how useful these tools would be. Well done!
Love the new innovations!
Those look amazing!! I love those microadjusters
Thanks, yes, I think I will use it as a micro adjuster a lot more than a miter slot calibration tool. That actually did cause some debate about what to call it.
Andrew, put a bolt on a magnet and use the magnet to adjust the top of the table saw when aligning the miter slot.

Well done. Thank you for developing better tools and helping society to advance.
Brilliant. Just stinkin' brilliant. Way to go, Andrew!
Thank you!
Awesome stuff!
Awesome tools, well done
Great work!
Nice demonstrations.

Yes, that is a pretty exciting new functionality, I think you'll like it.
That first one, could you also use it as a think stock jig? Seems like it would work great for that too.

You bet, really glad you like them
Great idea, i feel like I can probably make a shop built version of some of those!
Thanks Evan. I can't really tell you that you're wrong because I made shop versions of them first to pitch to Magswitch. Or 3D printed them anyway ...
Carpenters may not need ultra precision but woodworkers definitely need it
In some cases yes
I picked up the two featherboards and they are fantastic.
Thanks, that’s great to hear!
Awesome Tools!
Thanks Mike
Wow! Keep going! They seem awesome!
Thanks Alexandru!

Love it
Just ordered all three.
I like tht vert feather board..didnt see an email in the description below tho. Happy holidays
Oops, sorry about that, I added it
Do they come with the magnetic to Aluminum converters? Lol!
Great work and great ideas!!
Brilliant x3!!
Thanks David!

Glad you like em Valerie
Cool stuff!
Thanks!
Awesome products Andy
Thanks Jim
Very clever tools
Thank you!
These are GOLD and can't wait to get them downunder.
I think I need to visit Australia, woodworking seems to be popular, I've sent a lot of products your way.

The bump stops are the additional feature you get with 81101303
How much can we expect these to be next Black Friday?
I bought that alignment tool. I do not know what version I got, but will you update it if I got the old one?
There hasn’t been an update since it launched so if you bought it you have the most up to date version
Where has this channel been all my life
Looks amazing. Already ordered, but shipping cost to europe are hefty :)
backmeup666 , Considering the safety benefits might alleviate some of the discomfort.
Just followed the link to buy and was blown away by the quoted $90 usd shipping charge to Australia. Oh well, something else I can’t afford 😂

You keep impacting my finances.
Haha, sorry
I should have ordered the fence Featherboard as well 😔
For tight slots, the woodpecker kerfmaker is excellent. And there's a 3D printable version here: www.thingiverse.com/thing:1345031
What was the black Friday price?
It was 10% cheaper, so a little better but you aren’t missing much
nice

Sorry, don’t quite follow?
I put in the 1000th like 😎
evidently you can only use that code 1 time, I used it yesterday for the bandsaw kit and can't use it today for these new things
Really? That shouldn’t be the case, can you email me a screen shot?

True, but I really love this stuff.
Their free shipping code does not work. Guessing it expired but they have not removed the banner from their page.
That could be, I have a meeting today, I'll mention it
