- The economy is changing, and traditional college degrees aren’t as necessary as they once were. Today, career and technical education offers a viable alternative to people seeking high-paying careers.
As a result, dozens of universities in the United States have partnered with Trilogy Education Services to offer coding bootcamps that help aspiring tech workers get training for the great career opportunities available in tech.
While there are tons of coding bootcamps, only a handful are backed by the reputation of top universities. In this video, we’ll provide a state-by-state list of university-based coding bootcamps in the US, and the programs they offer today.

Thanks for the information. I found that highly informative and valuable.
Has anyone ever went to Columbia Coding Bootcamp?
This was incredibly informative and aligns with what I was slowly discovering on my own. Thanks!!
Most colleges are "just OK" or "eh... 6 years behind" or just "plain bad." That's how most things are across the board. Lots of mediocre hamburgers out there! I've been tutoring tons of bootcamp grads (after they graduate)... and Trilogy - has got to be churning out the most underprepared students. Does that mean - it's the most terrible thing in the world? No. You'll get in what you put out. Does it mean you could get a much better education somewhere else? Yes. 100% yes.
Can you please give an examples of very good coding bootcamps?😢😢
@@josepharmonle5499 Probably not. They'll just delete the comment. It's against their business model to rate schools based on quality.
@@sheriffderek is there anyway I can get in touch with you please ? I need mentoring and I have to make some serious life decisions ..I will greatly need your counsel
@@sheriffderek I dropped out of school and moved to the US 🇺🇸 last year this time with the hope of everything becoming magically better but didn’t turn out that way…but I have secured my status and my work permit should be arriving in 3 months ..and within those three month I want to get a job in tech(sounds rigorous I know )but here is my plan..I want to master a skill to get a tech job in three months (coding to be specific …or any certifications that will land me a tech job )and after getting the job I would go further and learn my way up the ladder but my primary goal is to get a job in by 3 -4 months ..Thank you so much i would love love to get your advise
@@josepharmonle5499 certification are worthless in most cases. I'd be happy to check in with you and help craft a plan. Hundreds of people have told me they want to do X in 3 months. Few have actually tried. I've got plenty action for you.
Does anyone has news about ISA from University Coding Bootcamps, like Columbia, Berkley, Trilogy, etc ?
I think they are all the same. I'm looking at the websites for Columbia and Northwestern and the programs are identical. Its all about name recognition in my opinion.
I’m actually looking into a University tech Bootcamp, because this university is one of of the only tech boot camps overall university or otherwise that offer training in Cloud Engineering
Does anyone knows about university of NC chapel hill
Do I need a certain certificate to enter booting camp?
I love this video I subscribed mainly cause you look like me ! And this is the first time I seen anyone who looked like me . I’ve decided to take boot camp but I’m not sure when… my main goal is to be super prepared before I take it. So I’m giving myself 6 months ? I’ve been training on Java script, HTML and CSS and I was wondering how much you’d recommend I know before taking that leap ?
I’ve been considering taking a University BC including looking into non university BC. I wanted to get college credit and use federal $ . There area few that are offering ISA .
So there are great programs like Kenzie Academy that give you college credit. Join Career Karma and one of our coaches can help you pick a bootcamps best for you
Have you reviewed Ed2go Fullstack program?
I wonder if Columbia University Bootcamp is any good ?
I'm looking into Fintech and coding at Columbia Univeristy. From my understanding they say that it is a great program. Plus, the network is pretty good. and Having the CU name on a certificate helps.
Juan Gonzalez lmk how it goes. I literally just backed out last minute cause everything I read online regarding Trilogy has been bad
Same here. Have you found out any new information?
Hey how did the boot camp go?
@@johnnygonzalez2683 Hello! Any thoughts on the fintech program at CU? I’m also interested and would love to learn more!
Mae me poner a ver esta picha para una tarea y no entiendo ni mierda que dice este mae
Buried in the Trilogy "guarantee" is the phrase, a degree is required to qualify!! And weirder yet, you have only so much time to get a job to qualify, er any job. Similar bootcamp guarantees are similar. I went with a BS of Data Science. Although the job placement process is way different, support is for years, not months.
Bootcamps are great if you are already in the field and just need Python, R, Java, etc. When you get into some of the weirder bootcamps, they might even offer you a teaching job in their horrific confusion!
Worst audio I ever encountered.
