I’m seeing another side of Alvin. Usually when he’s at tasty studio he’s this energetic guy, he’s so talkative and does a lot of things. While here, he showed us his calm side.

I really think this should be a continuing series. This feels like a mindfulness meditation exercise. Because he's not talking, you have to watch to see his comments, so you can't really be thinking or doing anything else. The music is very calming. It's very simple and inspires someone to do this on their own. Just a really lovely thing to watch. I think I've watched this every couple months. Moar please!

Because it's so true. In my country there are people outside begging for money or food so they can eat.

I don't have a rollercoaster in my garden, so I can't do what makes me happy every day. I'm lucky if I can do it once a year! Great video though, odd not hearing him talk but loved the calmness.

@@phoebecp if you want to make it , you can use a whisk and use your hand to mix the ingredients . But it will take time. You have to mix it for 20 minutes (maybe it will take longer or shorter).but it will work.

I have a feeling that this quarantine is going to allow a lot of Buzzfeed’s key content creators to realize that they have the skills and support to make it on their own without the backing of a studio/company. This was super enjoyable and I can definitely see Alvin’s personal editing style coming through

@@mintdrop1916 yeah, but ONE SIP and caffeine usually doesn’t start to kick in until around 15 minutes or so after you start drinking. One sip (especially when it’s not even much coffee anyway even though it may be strong) is not much caffeine.
@@mintdrop1916 I could imagine it being similar to a latte. The coffee itself is pretty strong, but you fill around 3/4 of the cup with milk and ice and the rest is espresso. Not very strong once you add that amount of milk
@@Vwill26 dalgona coffee has a thicc cream on top thats pure coffee powder and if u stir and take a sip its still pretty strong lmao its not the same with latte and i request you shud trie making some of your own just to see how it is, oh and also coffee has a different effect on each person so it could be all fine for you but if i take 5 sips dalgona coffee i already start shaking and my anxiety kicks in
@@mintdrop1916 based on this video, the coffee is basically a very thick sugary espresso. It’s definitely not “pure coffee powder” because they add water and sugar. Also, back to my original comment, the “awakeness” you are can be determined by the level of caffeine, but not necessarily by how strong it is. With around 2tbsp of coffee and you only put about half of that into the drink, I’d assume that the amount of caffeine may end up to the amount of a regular black coffee (around 60mg to 120mg), which is not much ESPECIALLY when only one sip is taken.
Please do more of this… it’s very calming. Nice to see before sleep.
