They do look great! But if you live in colder place, I would say that a lot of these jackets are more suitable for fall and spring. I live in Denmark and I would freeze my ass off in a lot of these jackets during the winter

Solid list, thanks for the variety. I’ve been picking up a few pieces from 18east lately. Unique designs while still versatile and they make products that fit my larger frame.
The atom hoodie is super warm! I live in sweden and have worn the atom hoodie for the last 5winters it keeps you warm in -20c. It is a amazing jacket by itself but it is also small and light enough to use for layering.
Got a Atom hoodie last year, probably my most worn piece during fall/winter. Simple but stylish at the same time. Great video, looking forward to checking out these brands you recommended! And no snow in area at the moment, hoping for it soon
Back in 2011 a Canada Goose bomber style parka was $600 or so, the same jacket today is a cool $1100 minimum. You know its insane when Canada Goose has a certified pre-owned service 😂

yeah the commercialisation of used clothes is so annoying. vintage stores in norway sell beat up carhartt jackets full of holes and permanent stains for $150+ because theyre ViNtAgE. sadly the hipsters here are braindead enough to buy them, contributing to driving the price higher and higher

Thanks for covering women and women! Great round up! I have a Pendleton wool coat similar to the one mentioned and can verify they are solid quality. Every once in a while Banana Republic has some solid pieces. I have a waffle Merino wool sweater from them I’ve had for a couple of years and really like. I’m surprised you didn’t have any deck jackets though!

I can’t believe you didn’t mention Columbia sportswear for fleece’s. They are actually affordable. They ain’t flashy but they are quality that last a really long time. I stand. By Columbia. I don’t consider them fast fashion
Been looking at the aritzia Superpuff in black, but thought it was lacking character -- I'm glad you recommended the banana republic one with the fur detail.. might have to cop!
I got a west 49 sweater at the mall that has that idk peanutbutter brown carhart look but it was only 30 buck. carhart is a classy workwear brand but there are definitely other options that are cheaper with the exact same vibe.
I have the Uniqlo seamless down parka and it really does keep me warm. (I live in Nyc and take public transportation) greatly recommend and if you want something for much colder weather. They have a chart and a few videos recommending which jacket to wear depending on the lightness and how much it could keep you warm.
Also Uniqlo has great winter jackets on clearance, I’ve bought a long puffer years ago on clearance at the start of winter for around $80. I used it so much that year!

Picked up a Crescent Down Works Classico to replace my ancient Canada Goose. Damn expensive but the quality is impeccable.
I picked up a Stone Island down jacket from ssense on sale last summer and its been amazing. I have no idea what temp its rated to but I've worn it in 20f so far and felt amazing. Obviously this is on the higher price range, but the quality feels like something I'll have for a very long time.

It hasn't snowed here nor will it snow ever in this part of the state i live. You can probably guess where I live since alot of snowbirds come and visit us, but if I wanted to see snow all I have to do is drive out 2 hours to a near by city where it'll probably snow in the next month or so. I do wish for rain alot since that'll increase our winter time and I get to enjoy wearing sweaters or jackets for much longer, otherwise its going to be miserable if summer hits early for us. I love your videos please don't stop, you're inspiring me to start uploading my own videos.

Cool video. I bought a second hand woolrich parka, the no fur version and it is a great winter jacket in my opinion. Also duffle coats, made in england, like gloverall. There is also a german brand called closed. They arevon the priceier side but have a beautiful dufflecoat this season.
I live in south California so it doesn’t get TOO cold where I live but I just love fashion videos and yours are always so chill and informative and just super enjoyable, if I’m ever going to a cold place and need a jacket I will definitely be coming back here to help me choose an option 🫡✨

I think Banana Republlic is quite slept on. I have always found good pieces that have lasted me multiple wears and washes. (NOT BR Factory! They are different)

I'm wearing one this time of year with thermal underwear, which so far has been relaxed (I haven't had any temperatures below 0 degrees). I thought about getting the quilted vest but didn't because I wasn't sure if it would keep me that warm. How is it with you?

I got a $50 wool coat from the Real Real last year. If you look at the Real Real’s Men’s section, everything is far cheaper than the women’s section.
Mountain hardware is one of the best bang for your buck brands for jackets!

Get a puffer and gloves, underrated item is also a good face mask. Since covid hit NY, the mask was one thing that’s never left my winter items.

Appreciated your video Drew ! I own an Atom LT Hoody and it can keep you warm in temperatures down to about 38 F , at least for me . For colder weather in freezing temperatures I have a Parajumpers Marcus. Just subscribed .

A recommendation for the European customer over here is the brand Welter Shelter from Amsterdam! In my opinion they have the best quality to price jackets in the mid-high end section as they combine modern silhouettes with highly technical fabrics that even outperform outdoors brands and layering systems to make their jackets suitable for all weather conditions. I have been wearing an biking in them for years, through the horrendous Dutch winters and never got wet once; that’s something!

My go-to jackets in London have both been Supreme, I've been rocking the Dickies collab bomber and the leather collar utility jacket on warmer days. Nuptse if it's real cold, also vintage leather but I need to get that one cleaned
