- We gave people on the street in NYC's Times Square authentic Ipoh white coffee from Malaysia to try for the first time. The vast majority of Americans have never heard of white coffee but they fell completely in love INSTANTLY!!!

To everyone who are wondering about White Coffee, it is originated from Ipoh, a small town from Malaysia which is internationally known for its variety and tasty food (featured a lot of times on Lonely Planet), resulting in Ipoh being named as one of the top three coffee towns by Lonely Planet. The coffee beans are roasted with palm oil margarine, and the resulting coffee is served with condensed milk. We know our coffee too ;)

@Santos Lewynn depends on how u order. You can opt for condensed milk or skim milk with sugar. Using condensed milk gives it a milky sugary taste, instead of the plain sugary taste from sugar
@Fariston you're right, agreed. Ipoh is a pretty big town, just not fully developed yet so it feels small when we just look at the lively and developed areas in Ipoh

去印度mamak可以吃印度煎饼(Roti Canai)，roti canai是普通的，但是已经很好吃了
还有很多不同口味的，个人推荐roti pisang (香蕉的)，还有一个看起来比较特别的是roti tissue
再叫一杯拉茶(Teh Tarik)

Yes it is correct. These coffee beans are roasted with butter / margarine first so the roasted nutty aroma comes from there.
We now have a lot of brands, some are milder but some are stronger (bitter) but the aroma is the main thing.
We used to have the "coffee aisle" when I was younger I love to walk through the aisle just to smell the roasted coffee.

最近是马来西亚专场吗？😁旧街场白咖啡，一直有看到卖，但是从来没尝试过…只是因为我生完小孩以后喝咖啡就会心悸😭能看到大家对白咖啡口味的描述就好像自己也喝了一样，真好。
看完描述我觉得我可以喝白咖啡？如果跟Tim Hortons的 French Vanilla味道差不多的话…因为我经常喝 French Vanilla，感觉就是甜甜的咖啡味饮料，里面没有多少咖啡因存在😂

@@muadventure5607 哈哈！一样，个人也不太能喝咖啡，会心悸。所以个人少喝。个人对喝咖啡还好，不会很喜欢喝，不过个人喜欢喝neslo，就是milo+咖啡。这个在马来西亚有店有买，需要人泡出来的。这个个人就很喜欢喝。
Old Town White Coffee确实是马来西亚发明的咖啡，而且是全马都有分行，不分地区或者城市。如果拿国民饮料Milo对比的话，当然支持White Coffee xDD

My usa bf came over to Singapore recently and I introduced him this type of 3 in 1 white coffee from another brand together with 3 in 1 teh Tarik n he love both. Brought some back to USA when he returns.
Love to see kind hearted people who found something nice and they believed others will like it but may not be familiar with it thus brought some to introduce to others on street. Love it when people spread the kindness.

白咖啡是在翻炒咖啡豆的过程时只用棕油而不加入任何添加物低温翻炒的，因此炒出来的咖啡豆颜色比一般咖啡豆淡很多，也比较不苦，咖啡因含量也比较低。
好像是用奶油炒咖啡豆。
Actually, the white coffee is being called white not because it is added with vanilla or milk or something white and sweet. Regular coffee bean is being roasted with sugar, hence the colour of the coffee is darker. However, the Malaysian White Coffee is roasted without sugar but margarine, hence the lighter colour and more of the original aroma of the coffee bean. And also coffee beans which are roasted with sugar will have a little bit of sour taste but you can't find it in White Coffee.
I believe the White Coffee that was served in this video was 3-1, which means it was added with sugar and condensed milk. That's why they tasted it like vanilla flavour.
Hazel nut white coffee is the best!
小马不是很了解白咖啡，因此不是很会讲解白咖啡。如果小马了解的话，会基本讲解白咖啡，外国人会更加喜欢和了解的和白咖啡。白咖啡是低温烘培咖啡豆，因此不会把咖啡炒出苦涩的咖啡。
聽說...胃不好的人喝白咖啡.比較不會胃不舒服~

κεγ ιοζκ I think maybe they’re more afraid of scams? imagine you go to a very touristy destination in foreign country or a really big international city, someone comes up to you and asks you to try their foods for free for no reason. It’s kinda like “I don’t know you and I don’t know what’s in there” mindset. It’s understandable. Don’t get me wrong, I’m from Cambodia which is part of ASEAN and I live in a touristy city as well.
