It's amazing that the pyramids(oldest of the seven) are the only one that still exist
It's really awesome that they do still exist. Not too surprising about all the other ones though, considering their structure and how they were consumed by fires, earthquakes, etc.
Yes!! This is the only one that still exist. By the way do you know the new 7 Wonders of modern world????
Check it :

It’s stone that’s why it is strong
Thats cap greeks are oldest

Fun theory about the hanged gardens of Babylon. Here in Iraq we believe that the reason the king built the garden was for his wife as mentioned in the video. But why? Well, it's believed that his wife was a beautiful woman who lived in the northern regions (currently known as Kurdistan) and this region is famous of it's green nature. In Babylon which is near to the center of Iraq, was a region of dry land and deserts. Therefore the queen was really sad and the king couldn't bare to see his beloved wife like that. So he ordered to build those gardens just for her sake and the only motivation was love.
Hope this was helpful
that’s actually false because in ancient times babylon was very very green because it situated in between the tigris and euphrates river. however over time the tigris and euphrates river drifted more and more apartand dams being built in turkey made the land a desert. also the place his wife is from is known as northern iraq🙂
@@buzzlightyear1010 wich part of (theory) you didn't understand?
@@buzzlightyear1010 ???
Ahmed Brando theories are made using logic, that theory is not logical because southern iraq use to be very green
Really!
im looking at the pyramids right now while watching this video
Wow lucky you. Happy journey :)
Weird flex but ok
That’s actually really cool
Greenspite Gamer that’s not weird at all
Cool
These structures should be rebuilt as they are legendary masterpieces of ancient engineering significant to modern humanity.
I second that
Pandemic Gaming I third that
The Rhodes one is being rebuilt apparently
The pyraminds can't be rebuilt and so many more of these can't bc it was a secret and they tried to rebuilt it nobody figured out how till now it is a secret
No we shouldnt
Imagine being on a ship at night being guided by the light from the lighthouse of Alexandria. Sublime!
Ancient structures: exist
Earthquakes: *I'm going to end this man's whole career*
BTW eygept is the most safest country
Allah helps us to survive in Egypt
Theres no natural disasters like ,flood, earthquake, tornado.nothing
There is some fire but not alot
And if another country attacks Egypt .egepts army is very strong and alot
Its just so crazy. All the mysteries of the ancient world we'll never get to know.
In Heaven I will.
wished we could see these structures now...I feel sad when I heard that some of them were destroyed by invaders...
You can go visit the foundations of them, at least, yes it's not the same, but you can get some idea.

Nope. Actually mostly by Ottomans.

Don’t be stupid, most were destroyed between 1400-1600 in the Middle East. Who controlled the Middle East in those times?
That’s right, the Ottomans.
how is there no more likes on this? this is awesome. great job
Thank you!
I like mysteries and wonders
I like to learn about Ancient stuff maybe thats why i kind of like History

Same lol
Same me 2
Biggest mystery of all is the hanging gardens of babylon
Just discovering this channel tonight. I really like how you get right to the history, and give a matter-of-fact summary all while paying some reverence to it at the same time. I like your style.
If I could time travel I would always travel to the past to see these wonders .
This video is a savior. Doing latin homework at 11pm. thx a lot. The vid definately deserves more views and likes
I agreeit was a great 👍 vid
Thank you for posting, That was a lot of work. Good job, very nice series!
Interesting how all of these statues of “gods” were destroyed by earthquakes. Makes you wonder if the real God was sick of it.
I definitely feel we should rebuild some of the ancient wonders as they are so incredible and beautiful. It’s definitely not just me that would’ve loved to live in Ancient Greece due to the architecture
Thank you for showing us how beautiful our world is. It’s definitely an inspiration for the next clips.
Greece has lost so many ancient wonders its heartbreaking 🇬🇷💔
Great turkey taken😁😁
@@hasanyalcin6049 most of them were destroyed when you were in Mongolia.
@@geodim3904 the ottoman is coming soon

I hope they rebuild the destroyed wonders it’s a shame that it took these people years to build and got destroyed
Maybe will be rebuilded supension gardens of semiramidines.
You got your wish! The Colossus and the Alexandria Lighthouse are being rebuilt

Oh how I wish I could go back in time and visit the hanging gardens
I know and you understand the point I’m getting at
I am most fascinated by the gardens since no one knows where it was or even exsited. I wouldve loved ti see it as well as the colosses
Is there any new information as to whether they were really in Babylon, or the other location? Lol I just read about it on Wikipedia (again), But can't remember the name.
Also what is I think just as remarkable, are the awesome works built to carry the water all the way from the mountains to the gardens
The 8th wonder is when is Chief Keef gonna drop his old snippets
Brooooo facts
Jovani 5 or when world star gonna post fights

Dude, your script is so great I just literally read this on Twitter just now & it’s the same word for word.
This stuff is always amazing for me to watch. The water bottle carelessly thrown on this ancient ruin seen 1:54 makes me sad. This ancient history should be preserved and respected.
I can’t wait for you to see part two and three, these have been fascinating to make!

The paramedics are simply very very old doctors.
Nice video..the narrator's quite articulate.. definitely kept me focused
Great video!! My teacher made me watch this in class :)
We need a remake of these structures.
Definitely not it will not have the same importance the did it for there beliefs their kings their families and all by hand that's what made them wonders and so great to us
I think that if the Pyramid of Giza fell, they should make a memorial to the ancient seven featuring them all in a circle on a smaller scale as the centerpiece.
Thank you so much. I learned a lot. I love to learn about the seven wonders of the ancient world.
Great video
I am doing this for homework and I am enjoying it
Years to build - Minutes to destroy !
Ancient people gifted - Modern weapons hated!

Thank you u really helped me make notes for my homework :)
Dickson Agyemang ha lol
Lol one of them is useful for my project
If I knew in the future we'll have flying cars,a building 1 mile high and a mobile cathedral that walks around the world and I was given a choice of either traveling to the future to see those advancements or to the past to see the ancient wonders my decision would be quick and easy... I'm traveling to the past!
Thanks...very interesting!
This is awesome
7 wonders of the world and 7 wonders of the ancient world are different. Why did nobody teach me this in school? I always thought pyramids of giza were one of the 7 wonders with Taj mahal and the colleseum etc.
its good i like it so much WOW
Then it will also not disappoint you:
czcams.com/video/VzyWBnMQCtk/video.html
Woooow this is amazing
It’s been 3 years i think I don’t have to wait
The gisa pyramid had canals to it. No they didn’t drag those giant rocks several miles that would’ve taken forever.
Maybe,... But I don't care what anyone says, I'm sure they had wheels, regardless what these people say!
I always wonder about the hanging gardens of Babylon. As the ancient wonders were supposedly compiled in around 1st/2nd century AD the Babylonian and Assyrian empires had been gone for hundreds of years by this point. I wish I could see all the ancient wonders in person. Thanks for sharing this :)
Very awesome
Regarding the largest Pyramid. The last step, the perfectly cut and shaped white stone exterior, took 25 years alone to cargo by boat. Meaning the construction took longer than 10 years.
And Khufu's tomb, is ~4500 years old.
Work on his pyramid-tomb stopped, when he himself died. Seen in the chambers beneath the pyramid (clip of the descent down the shaft to those said chambers are featured in this video.)
I remember all these due to Civilizations 5.
The pyramid was the tallest until 1130 ad when it was succeeded by Lichfield Cathedral
Pyramids were built before newton invented gravity, weight wasn't a problem back then
😂😂👍
One of my favorite places.
My god..that Babylonian ancient city is beautiful whether it’s real or not I would spend half a million of my money just to build a replica of that city
It's my city I live in babylon
If you got the money,.. it will speak for you!
human pride crumbles in the end
Great video. I've always be fascinated by the Seven Wonders. Looking forward to seeing what makes it into your next videos.
great video
If you have a time machine and you can only travel to see one of these wonders, which one would you choose to see?
Me definitely hanged gardens of Babylon
Helios is a Titan Btw
thanks man
Now imagine a time traveller and a camera making images of all of these (even the pyramids when they were first built)
I love how game of thrones includes some of these wonders in the books and show as well 🥺
So it’s not like anybody cares
You have the wonder of the earth itself
Interesting !!!
The rice terraces In the Philippines is still exists I did a reaserch and discovered that they can still harvest plants in it and it's handmade
I'm from Babylon and I can assure you that there isn't any trace of garden anywhere. Completely myth.
im here for an assignment
Thank you
Gracias Paul 💪
Persepolis.
The lighthouse of alexandreia was a Greek building it was made bu ptolemy 🇬🇷 the general of alexander. Today's is in Egypt but back then egypt was a greek colony
What’s the name of the background music? It is very calming.
I’m looking at Machu Picchu right now while watching this video
All the dislikes are all the people who never saw how amazing those wonders of the worlds are
I love the 7 wonders of the world
So much history in Egypt and Greece. Like if you agree
And iraq😞
good job
Thank you very much for the useful and important information. A special greeting from Yemen, the historic old city of Sana’a
all build by hellenes or greeks as you call them
Lighthouse of Alexandria
Colossus of Rhodes
Mausoleum at Halicarnassus
Statue of Zeus at Olympia
Temple of Artemis at Ephesus
The lighthouse of Alexandria was built by the Egyptians, not by the Greeks. The Greek supervisor of the construction is the Egyptian workers and the assistants. It is not permissible to attribute the building of the lighthouse to the Greeks.
@@mohamedbahgat293 It was built at the command of a Greek Pharaoh by a Greek architect. What are we talking about?

Close but off a couple hundred years. This was made in the century, the Khaaba in the 6th if I remember correctly.
Its so sad that I would be able to see 6 of The Seven Wonders Of The Ancient World ):
Thanks millions
Nice Video
The hanging gardens are the oldest
No... they're not...Only one civilization was older or prior to Egypt...and that was Sumer...not Babylon...
And the great pyramid was built like only 600 years after Egypt's unification...no other ancient wonders from that list is older than that!
@@towardsheaven4196 yes sumer was older but they do not have a wonder of the world so hanging gardens are the oldest in the video
@@punisher4312 you don't know how to read...Do you?
I never said Sumer had a wonder... I'm saying since Sumer was the first civilization and after that came Egypt...then actually Egypt is the oldest one represented in the video...The Hanging gardens are neither in Sumer or Egypt...The oldest of the 7 wonders is the great pyramid...Are you slow or what?
@@towardsheaven4196 lol your dumb babylon and the hanging gardens are way way older than Egypt about 2000 years older do some research
Fun fact: Greece has built 4 out of the 7 wonder, them being. The Lighthouse of Alexandria, The Temple of Artemis, The statue of Zeus and The Colossal of Rhode's
That was really cool
This also really cool😉😉😉:

If some of those wonders were destroyed by Eathquakes, floods, and fires, it could mean that mother nature didn't like those wonders.(Just a theory)
a silly one. more like earthquakes are a bitch
Artemis temple was destroyed by people in combination with earthquakes.
I thought the Colosseum is ancient wonders too?
It's not, but another one of the structures is
thankyou so muchh
Can u do a video on kailasanath temple in india
I wonder how do these monuments survive they were supposedly built up 4000 years back without the modern day technology, it would have taken them years to build. this is certainly not something which is done overnight
Well, they sure had their work cut out when building the 7 wonders. :D
Back them people use more of their brain and minds rather than rely on technology
