The only problem is the clean plate. The blur around the character makes it something that can be used for pre viz but I have used it a bit and it's still pretty wonky for any sort of professional use. That being said, I am sure in time that will all be cleaned up. Yet it's on it's way.
I believe it's much improved in the current version compared to the release version in this video. Give it time and I'm certain it will be perfect! Thanks for watching and commenting!

You are referring to the Visual Effects industry. Special Effects refers to practical on set effects such as pyrotechnics, robotics, costumes ect. Visual effects is anything post production done digitally. And no this isn't going to "Destroy" the industry, if anything it will enhance it eventually. But for now it's a very long way off from production quality.
However I do agree this will give indie content creators access to some basic levels of VFX, which will likely amount to little more than a bunch of robots twerking on Tiktok.
Despite the small levels of misinformation, I did enjoy your enthusiasm and overall your video format is pretty entertaining. Keep it up!
Thanks Nick. Agreed. I'm still pretty new to this and have watched loooaads of content about titling videos. I do currently have a split-test going with the title... This one gets changed for a more mundane but accurate one, and so far, as is life, this more clickbaity sounding one is kicking the a$$ of the other one. It's sad we have to 'stoop' to this to get any views, but this is the world I find myself in now! As other comments say I've not addressed some of it's 'not so great' bits, like the fuzzing around the paint out, but I will endeavour to give a more balanced view in future videos, and hopefully I've gone towards somewhat justifying the clickbaity title. As with any new tech, like you've said, it's just something that the successful ones in the industry will embrace and benefit from. Forgive me and I'll keep trying! @@yottylaboratories don't be too hard on yourself, it's a very common mistake to make.
Sometimes Special Effects refers to both. Usually it's divided between Visual Effects (essentially anything done in post) and Practical Effects (stuff done on set and in-camera). So there's nothing wrong with him calling it Special Effects.

That's wild. The fact that the bar is set this high when the technology is still in its starting stages implies a lot of things.
And the motion capture isn't half bad either! There's a couple of artifacts here and there but nothing that can't be polished in post. Amazing

I just got access to the software myself, it's really neat. I'm personally trying to create 3D models to use in software and see if I could create a no budget horror short film. This is a super high-quality channel and super underrated. I've subscribed and I hope others do as well. Nice work!

@@Narn_Branny I started this channel wanting to do special effects (one of my earlier videos has me jumping through a Stargate to visit my friend in an UE5 world) but months of work for a few hundred views, Vs a vid I made in an afternoon about AI and Etsy got thousands! So.... Building an audience with shorter, easier vids so it will be more worth while doing more effects stuff with more people to see it. Hopefully y'all will like it, even if a bit different to why you subscribed! It's all practice at the end of the day! What're your plans?
@@yottylaboratories I'm currently working on a short 20 minute pilot for a concept for an animated tv series I want to make at some point in the future with a team of people (ambitious I know), I also wanted to use Wonder Dynamics to create a short 10-15 minute long horror short film. I'm intrigued to see how easy or difficult that may be. I do understand these are quite lofty goals, but they're aspirations nonetheless.

AWESOME INFORMATION VIDEO.
if they could make it look a lot better it could be usable, but for now, I feel like it is only useful for clickbait or maybe tiktok level content. They could probably solve the paintout problems a few iterations down the line, but I'm not convinced the motion capture part will ever be good enough to not need manual animation work (feet sliding, weight looking weird). Then again, no one thought ai tools were going to target artists first so maybe ill be surprised again.

You're reaching a bit there with the title... it's not a seamless comp, the radiator behind you is chattering like mad on the rendered result and this only works with pre-rigged models that they already have in a pre-set asset bank.
AI is going to revolutionise a lot but Wonder Studio is far from a done deal
But it does give you a glimpse of what's to come. I remember seeing something similar just a few weeks ago and the paint-out was a fucking blurry noisy mess, this is already heaps better, what are we going to see in 6 months?
It’s crazy how you could pick about a demonstration of brand new technology utilizing AI function which is clearly advancing more rapidly than we can comprehend, None of this was possible a year ago but the radiator is chattering like mad.
Hey, yeah you're exactly right. I think I was so caught up in what it *COULD* do, I didn't take the time to say what it could do better. Bear in mind this is still in closed beta though, and can only improve. One of the suggestions I saw in the Discord server was the ability to mark your own "blank plate" if you have a fixed shot to save it the work of figuring it out itself. Thanks for watching!
I am a professional, and we tested it for fun and it doesn't work. Of course their videos show you the nicest clips ever, but in reality it fails. That is only good for fun video to share with friends on facebook, nothing to do with professional productions.... We are not worried about it because no one in the industry will never use such thing...
