I've skipped over Scrappy type videos because I have a BAD habit of just leaving the leftovers in a bag or bin. People have so many ideas to sort leftovers but again, I shut my eyes and ears and scroll on by. So now... I find myself with full shelves of pieces crowding out my spaces. I need that tv show where they make you Empty out the ENTIRE room and put back only what you love. HELP!! 😂
I donate my scraps because my stash is so big. I have difficulties working with pieces smaller than 4".
I completely understand! I need to get a handle on mine because they are stored in different nooks and crannies in my space! It can easily get overwhelming.

I bought that book in 2021. When I had Facebook, I followed her & her retreats at her Victorian house. She is amazing & I love how she helps me to use my scraps.
I have this book. I actually have all her books. I have done several of her quilts as well as her mystery quilts. I have a lot of my scraps cut up into the system Bonnie Hunter has her scraps cut up. Thank you for this video it is definitely motivation to do more scrappy sewing again.
You didn't have to unthread your machine to fill the bobbin!!! That is amazing.....
I keep an extra spool of thread out just for filling bobbins! Saves me some time!
I noticed that too. Great idea. I always put another spool on there, but like a dummy, I always put it on the same post and then take it off.
Love this pattern. Keep saying I'm gonna do it and haven't yet. It's on the list tho'.
I've made that quilt. Love Bonnie Hunter with all the free patterns she offers on her website, plus I've bought every book she's written. I make tons of scraps quilts for various charities that our quilt guild supports.
She is a wonderful gift to the quilt community

Soooo I haven't cut my hair for about 5 or 6 years, but the last time I looked into it, there were other businesses that would accept bleached hair AND they were more affordable to the people that need help getting the wigs.
If I grow my hair out again I will have to research!

My sister was here today and we were looking at quilts in progress. She asked if i had any 1 yd cuts that i might get rid of. I turned around and said...i have these 6 totes. Went thru them and gave her half a dozen, so my totes close better now. 😂😂 so glad i decided to sort my fabrics by size!! Lets not talk about sorting scraps.😊

I own every Bonnie Hunter book and have made at least a dozen of her quilts. Bonnie is one of the original quilting You Tube stars … unfortunately her internet service has now limited her videos😢.

Good morning, if you have Kindle Unlimited the book is free. I like the fact that I can go to my kindle library and don’t have to look through my quilting book stash to find the book. I’m rearranging my sewing room so everything is all over the place or in boxes. 😅

Oh man I missed the live! Would have been a perfect time to ask about the trim it ruler holder you have on the wall behind you. A friend and I had been brainstorming on storage options and that hanging layout is right on the money what we were envisioning. 😊

I don’t starch then store them. I might starch them if needed for a pattern I want to use the scraps in.
